Is there any way to make running water in HL2? I have not seen any scrolling textures. VALVE really has crappy textures...

Dont know, but they are only crappy if you dont know how to use them
properly, you can pull off a really good looking map using really basic
textures if you do it properly.
I think func_convoyer might be what you want.

How many time has this been answered? The answer is there is none! Unless you make your own there is no running water.

Ok, here is my brilliant idea.
Make the water, and texture it as normal, then apply some sort of falling water sound, and have a whole bunch of mist where it hits the bottom, and light mist everywhere else, and maybe it will kinda cover up the lack of movement.
