Unlike so many other posts around in HL2 editing, i feel this is a rare occasion....
I'm a low level coder, and well..... i'm looking for something to do.
I've made a few weapons and think i'm getting the hang of it.
So if you have a simple idea you'd like implemented, i'll have a shot at it

Umm... a project for Visual C++ 6.0 that compiles correctly?
I hear that you can compile in that version, but I've been too busy mapping to spend any time getting it to work.

Hey, you feel like trying to impliment an inventory system for a single player mod?
I would experiment myself (not that i have any idea's past modifying weapons) but i cant seem to compile the solution for some odd reasons.

At its simplest Keys for doors.
Idealy An inventory system similar to Vampire Bloodlines, or Resident evil 4. An RPG style inventory system allowing you to only carry a certain amount of items (deus ex, chrome ect) That sort of thing.
Also, how do you compile your DLL's, im using the C++ 2005 beta version, and its having none of it, ive got errors coming out of my ears, most involve not being able to find a .srb file, any idea?

Like the cube of DOOOOOM from Turok Evolution
Or the anomolies that were shown off at the E3 preview of S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl. Would be interesting to see, and cool to throw into a bunch of people mashing each other with a toilet bowl

Pressure calculations would be nice.
Water that doesn't rely on a trigonometric wave for movement and rather on physics would be good too. The trick would be to get it to run on a current machine. Obviously, I don't suggest using .NET or anything "Visual", you'll need all the efficiency you can get.

I like the grav bomb idea, only tweak it a little, make it like the
shock rifle in UT where you send a secondary blast off, and if you hit
it with you primary then BOOM! but this time around make it a balck
hole like in UNREAL 2 the awakening (you know the last level)

Make a rifle that shoots a charge that makes things stick to the player
it was shot at. Kinda like a static sharge gun that would make
loose socks stick to who ever was hit by it, only this blast would make
all things stick to the victum.
its like the grav bomb but its a gun that turns what ever NPC or PC turn into a grav bomb.

BFG9K from DooM 1. Best weapon ever, imho.
EDIT: It might be tricky getting the traces to work right with a 3D hitscan...
