Ok, I'm going nuts...

I've run through the manuals, and searched about a dozen different forums, but for some reason I can't figure out how to totally turn off the red/blue/green BSP/Leave grid lines that show up in 3D Wireframe view. I'm trying to diagnose some leaks in a rather complex map, and the Red/Blue/Green grid lines make it difficult to follow all my solid joins looking for gaps/overlap.

I've tried making the grid smaller/bigger, turning the grid off, etc... every possible option in 2D/3D views. I just want the raw wireframe view, no grid, no measurements. I know I'm missing something obvious...

Thanks.

Followup:

I ironmanned it through the distraction of the grid lines and got my leaks debugged. It'd still be nice to know how to turn these RGB grid lines off.

Thanks,

There is a 3D grid toggle in hammer, should be on the toolbar in the
top left or something. Make sure you have all the toolbars turned on
and look for an icon that shows a small section of grid with "3D"
written over it.

Yeah, the button is on the
Hammer
Map View Toolbar
if you have trouble finding it.

Ok... first off, thanks. Yeah, it's the 'mapview bar' under Screen Elements.

Second, I found a minor bug in Hammer.

If you run dual displays like I do, you might want to watch for this. My setup:

ATI XT850 - Dual Mitsubishi Diamond Pro CRT's - One big Virtual desktop in XP

I run my main 4 view Hammer window on the right monitor, and all of my tools/entity report/properties/compile log on the left monitor. Gives me the most real estate for my 3D/2D views. I've noticed that the 'mapview bar' will go missing sometimes when I restart Hammer... especally after a crash. Under View/Screen Elements the 'mapview bar' will still be checked, but it will not be anywhere on the left or right screen, or under any of the other tool windows.

So unless you know it's missing, and know exactly what you're looking for, you'll go nuts trying to find where the grid controls are.

Just an FYI.
