Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Palazzo

This medium-large italianesque map marks my return to hammer-fumbling after a couple of years (You may remember me as Dolly - I made a few ok-ish maps). Inspired by a holiday to italy (well spain actually but who cares?) gameplay centres on a white stone palace. Most rooves are accessible making for lots of nice open gameplay, but theres also the catacombes under th palace for the agrophobic and the shotgun contingent. General flow is shaping up beautifully, however I'm worried that im running out of inspiration for detailing - so if any detail freaks want to give me advice - let me know and I'll send you the map.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch dm_diesel_redux

My first map. Small map inside a large industrial building.
I have learned alot since releasing this map. I incorperated this knowledge into the map and am re-releasing it as dm_diesel_redux.
Changed the lights, added sounds, made lower area lights shootable and a whole lot more.

Counter Strike Source awp_canal

This is a small awp map. Two opposing 5 story buildings with a canal down the middle.
Changes:
Name awp_canal
Can now move around the map.
Redid all lighting.
Added enviroment sounds.
Removed buy zones.
Changed props so they do not 'push' you away.
Made custom BOT nav file.
Now supports 32 players.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch dm_derelict_twilight_beta_2

This my first map outside of the Quake series, DM_Derelict_Twilight is set in an abandoned industrial zone among predominantly early 20th century architecture.

The map's action centres on a 3-story warehouse with a totally user controlled elevator, with a large-ish open area out front. Traffic flows along several paths, and across several vertical levels, to weapons and power-ups. There are the obvious ladders to climb and I also put in climbable pipes and gutters. Gameplay is average-to-fast on an 8-person server.

There are one or two good (but not too good) sniping spots, and a handful of surprises, too.

My map competition entry, may possibly turn into a 'proper' level one day. The contrast is really poor, but I'm fairly happy with the level as is...

First hl2dm map. Made it in a few days.. 6-8 players only or it might get a bit stuffy. Frames are fairly good they range from 60-100. Hope you enjoy... Report any glitches if you find any :)

Update: Thanks to everyone for the comments. Fixed the spotlight sprites to fit the fixtures, and random glitches that I found.

Half-Life 2: Other... Brawl Biker Bar

This is a Biker Bar themed map I am working on for the Brawl mod http://brawl.moddb.com/

The map has an outdoor appearance to it (bricks, grafitti, etc.) because of the theme I picked. I was trying to incorporate an outdoor feel using outdoor objects and props, bricks, grafitti, apparatuses and other noticable things. The fog was added to appear as cigar/cigarette smoke in the bar.

PS. There is some good fighting music playing in the background via speakers placed around the bar and onstage :)

There is a stage for live bands to play on. I am not sure whether or not I will add in a backstage area. The washrooms are not yet complete. The current pool tables are only prefabs made with brushes to hold off untill I receieve my model. A few other models are also being waited upon.

*REGARDING THE COLOURED LIGHTS
The reasoning behind these lights is that there will be band equipment set up on stage when the models are complete. The lights actually shine down upon a stage where a band would play. It's as if the band show is being set up and lighting is being tested... But I will definately make a few flicker like what was suggested :)

I hope you enjoy this WIP map, and I hope you take interest in the Brawl mod.
