Half-Life: Deathmatch Oceanic

The map takes place in an aquarium facility, home to different species of sea animals.
It has a pretty big size and is better suited for long range weapons.
R_speeds in this scenario are also higher than what I usually do in HL1 because of the detail needed. The r_speed limitation prevented me from making the architecture I originally had in mind. I will probably make a Source map with a similar theme in the future.
The lightmap grid in the outside area is also something I'm not happy with.

The hardest part of making this map was probably setting up the aquariums themselves, because it involved creating a great deal of transparent textures.
While the fishes are func_rotating, I managed to use tracktrains for the mantarays, which makes them seem a bit more alive.

Natural Selection (HL) Derelict

The story for this map is that a civilian research vessel is found abandoned in deep space after an attack by the Kharaa. The marines are sent in to take control of the vessel before the aliens can establish a strong presence which will result in the loss of the ship and the valuable research data onboard.

The map itself is not the entire ship, but rather an isolated section of it where the Kharaa are active. The marines will start from the hangar of their command cruiser, which is docked with the research vessel.

Derelict uses mostly textures from the ns, ns2, and eon wads, and a few I made myself. The theme of the map is inspired by System Shock 2.

This short single player mod was supposed to incorporate quite a bit of custom content, unfortunately steam decided to erase all of my content under its folders. It is completely erased. It was a short adventure from your apartment in the city, and down a block to pick up some flowers for your girlfriend. There would be no fighting or shooting whatsoever. In fact, i created it to sponsor a new kind of environment, a living environment, where nothing was wrong, there would be no convient destructed obstacles to keep you from the edge of the map. Instead, it would have living streets, with interactive people walking down the sidewalk, much like the gta series, but in Source. there would be cars, and city ambience. You would have gotten to see a wreck between some cars and a police chase occur right in front of you. The story would be straitforward, but the interactivity would compensate for that. So, here is a look at what you all would have been able to play in the following months with no thanks to steam.

My new sven map is about you have found one of the grunts main bases and you are sent in to destroy it but you soon find out why you where sent to destroy it!

This was my 2nd map i ever made, its probaly the quickest rat map ever made (i rushed it :P) its still fun i guess :P

Your inside a lava chamber and you jump from rock to rock trying to kill the other team, you have thouse jet pack things from hl1 to help jump around(theres also a very hard secret to find its under one of the rocks)

Its a small fy map by me, it only took me like 1 hour, just a fun quick map to play on :D also i didnt try hard to make it, just getting used to source mapping :D ill get a download url soon also :P
