Map Description

Released: July 2001

My largest released map to date and also (of my releases thus far) the most complex. Layout is a bit too loopy, but architecturally I think I got a pretty good recreation of the original Black Mesa feel.

I searched for "hello" and "Hello" in forum posts and nothing came up. I'm pretty sure that there are multiple threads out there with the word hello in it, here is one :naughty:. Unless the search feature doesn't work that way.

Bug: The upload avatar feature in the control panel didn't work for me (I tried changing my avatar)

Bug: My timezone isn't listed in the edit profile section of the control panel, my timezone is +10.

Here are a few bugs I've found:
  • When sorting by highest rated maps under ALL games it didn't put the highest rated maps first; I think it was still alphabetizing them.
  • When viewing pictures on map profiles, if you press the button to view a different picture in the list, and then click on that picture to open it in a new window, the window will always show the first picture for that map, no matter which one you clicked on in the list. This is an issue on the other version of the site as well.
  • Some things don't seem to line up on user profiles; look for the featured map's image buttons. (notably mine: Riven's profile
  • I still don't see an AIM icon on my actual profile page (next to the steam profile icon) [NOTE]: I know it's on my posts, just not on my profile page. I feel like I'm a broken record on this
  • On a post on the other version of the site, someone used a quote tag but ended it with [unquote] instead of [ /quote] [/quote] and it screwed up the entire layout of the page, treating all the other posts as one huge quote. -It was an easy fix, but was wondering if that kind of thing could be preventable through code? Test: [quote=Testing mess up] BLA BLA BLA BLA [unquote] -see what I mean?
[EDIT]: using FireFox v3.0.5

Thanks aaron!

The online users page was being pushed down because there was actually an error message there (it was black text on a black bg... you had to highlight it to see it or be using the blue theme). Fixed now.

Search does seem to be working? Type in 'feedback' and it returns loads of threads, including the other sticky.

forumst isn't a spelling mistake, it's 'forum titles', just needs cleaning up.

Improving the search page design is one of the things I wanted to do but haven't got round to :/

Bug: Search feature dosen't work at all

Bug: There is a spelling error in a page that is displayed after doing a search in the forums, titles and posts: No results to display for the search "hello" in the section "forumst"

Bug:

Users online page, content seems to be centered on the vertical axis rather than being aligned to the top of the page.
