Day Of Defeat (HL) DoD_Dessau_a

This is the first installment of a medium sized project. I'm going to make each main area of the map playable and polished in it's own right before joining them together. I hope this will both help produce a well constructed organized map, and keep up my interest in the project.

This first installment is a fully playable map which would probably be best with 4-6 players. There is only one flag, but it takes 45 seconds to capture, so a premium is placed on controlling the area for some significant period.

R_speeds peak at 1200, which I am going to try to lower, but I think I will have to sacrifice some detail because I don't think any of it is due to overdraw.

This is the full version of Dessau. It contains only two main sections due to my reaching the clipnodes limit a bit sooner than I had anticipated. Nearly all of the buildings are enterable.

Day Of Defeat (HL) DoD_Bergspiel

A Smallish DoD map meant for 4-8 players. I had allot of fun with the rock work on this one, but still managed to keep the r_s low.

This map was a normal DOD capture the flag map but i had a brain wave which doesnt happen very often at it is now a para map so i have to remake it from scrach be cause the layout is now totaly different

Day Of Defeat (HL) dod_zorba

Medium size map for small fights (8-10 players) based around an abandoned monastery. The allies have to blow up a plane and the germans have to protect it. To make things a little more frustrating...ive put the allies' bomb 5 meters away from the plane, in the heart of the german base :D. The main idea is to blow eachother apart. This is a beta so it may still have some flaws. The biggest one would be the r_speeds (HUGE: 2000w_poly!) but im going to be fixing this problem soon.
Nice Day of Defeat map but laggy. Im still working on that :) .

its set in a snow village much like dod_kalt, ony totaly different feeling. wiht 5 control points a rivier and axis and allied spawnpoitns are on different places. still it got the dod_kalt look with a central road leading throw the map wich the control points are on.

Unfortunately the i suffered from a hd crash and havent been able to retrieve the source. Therefore this map is canceld...

Allied troops advance on a small german held town. After setting up
their headquarters, a small squad of allied soldiers are sent out to
capture the remaining german forces and secure key positions in town.

Day Of Defeat (HL) dod_devastation

Currently in progress. It's an update of the classic dod_devastation maps that had betas throughout the years but the original creator never quite finished. I got the source and permission and am creating my own version.

Day Of Defeat (HL) dod_kettle

Final build of my version of the map dod_cr44. This is the "Official" map of Kustom Kettle which is one of the oldest and most popular custom map servers for DoD. I did this as a favour and made it so that it keeps very true to the original gameplay with only adding small details to smooth any rough edges and making it a more pleasing experience. The pictures are pretty crumby, but give it a go if you're a DoD player.

September 22, 1944, Netherlands

The paratroopers of the First Allied Airborne Army were to drop
into the Netherlands and secure a corridor from Eindhoven north
to Arnhem. After successful jumps and most objectives complete,
they were given the new objective of keeping Hell's Highway open
despite german counterattacks.

On September 22, the German forces launched their first counterattack
at the town of Veghel, Netherlands. The Axis forces hoped to cut the
road and stop the flow of Allies north.
Allied Objectives:

- Allied 1: The Jeep - 2 second, 1 man cap.
- Allied 2: The Church - 4 second, 2 man cap.

- Axis 1: The Fountain - 2 second, 1 man cap.

map for training, two bunkers for each team. I am not sure if i wanna put capture points on it. there is still much i need to learn about turrets and such before this map is complete. Itll be done very soon since this is an expieriment...

added a long long time after: well, i moved, and also got a new comp so this file is dead and will never come back... unless we have some sort of voodoo witch doctor to bring it back from the dead. o well, it was pointless anyways :) sorry
