I don't think he wrote those words it says he did- not only is the english far in advance of an American 16 year old, but look how he talks! Always saying "Its like, wow, omgz, iraqis are poor".

Hes a really big fool, but I do give him credit for his stupidity/courage.

Some people are like slinkys...

They aren?t really good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one tumbles down the stairs.

Sh*t. What a nonchalant fool. This is the reason why we see news about people abducted by Al-Quaeda on TV.

sigh You don't see anything wrong in some american 16yo kid going to
Iraq where people (more or less) older and "wiser" than him are being
abducted or blown to bits on a regular basis? Hmm...

HELLO, this is Iraq we're talking about, not some museum in London or New York.

His mom is showing every sign of being a fool aswell; an irresponsible one.

"Proud of his
achievement" (what is it exactly that he "achieved", BTW?) and that
gratuitous remark at
the end of the video about how smart her kid is ? FFS, if I ran to
Iraq, my parents would skin me alive, not say how proud they are of my
"achievement".

Actually, I think this is what he meant.

Fits the mood of the topic at the point of Andy's inclusion by Freeman anyway.

and, it still fits me more so.

Has anyone ever read Going After Cacciato by Tim O'Brien? What this teen did was a perfect example of the moral of that story: Anything is possible.
