I'll start by saying that the number one thing that pisses me off (today and a lot of days) is my parents/older people and thier additudes.

Like today, I gathered all the trash and burned it outside, because Dad told me to. I forgot to empty one of the trash cans in the house, so dad WAITS until all the other trash s done burning and THEN he tells me about the one i forgot, so I have to go out in the snow and freakin' light it again.

My parents seem to be COMPLETELY unable to touch 2 things: trash and anything to do with the dog. I have been gone for TWO WEEKS to england before and when I got back, they had not taken the trash out and it was all piled up in the garage, "because it's my job." If the dog ever needs food or water or needs to be hooked up to the rope, they will literally get me out of bed at 4:00 in the morning so I can hook her up to the rope, "Because she's my dog." (we have to hook her up so she doesnt follow us in to town.)

This happens with other people too, and this post is already long enough, so I'm cutting it short, but, GOSH DANG, that pisses me off.
I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

Spoken like a true adolescent there Nickelbag.

Hey, I got an idea. Move out and pay your own way. Then you'll appreciate not only yourself MORE (as if) or you might just realize that life is a series of teaching steps.

You will look back on that event and laugh someday. It may not be a belly buster, but it will come.

Now me? I am pissed off whenever I open my browser and Snarkpit isn't there. That truly pisses me off.

Get real Nickel... You have not realized it yet but your parents are teaching you something. Life sucks ass, they are giving you a bit of a callous to tolerate it for when you must face it alone.

The best things in life, aren't things.

This happpened to me today so it's on my mind...

I hate when people don't hold the door open for you when they walk in
literally half a second ahead of you. The just walk in and let
the door slam in your face. That pisses me off quite a bit.
So much so that I begin to think of that person as an asshole.

What's not quite as bad but similar is when I hold the door for someone I don't know and they don't say thank you.

What happened to manners and being polite?

Orph- I'm wondering when I'll get to this "Real life" you people are always doddering on about! I got out of high school, and everyone is still talking about the "real world." "When you get into the REAL WORLD things are not gonna be so easy!" they say. I get a full-time job AND I'm a ful-time student with 15 credit hours every semester (sometimes more!) a college degree, I pay for all my own stuff except laundry detergent, and STILL no "real world." I don't think the effing thing exists! You just think the "real world" is being YOU, and since no one else ever will be, you have to try to make thier accomplishments look small by saying that they are still in a preparatory stage in thier lives instead of admitting that they have accomplished a lot! THAT is the additude that older people have that pisses me off. I'm glad you gave me a good example.

PS. I pay rent to live in my parents' house.

Actually, funny thing, I have a 5-gallon water bucket for her and an automatic feeder that holds almost 35 pounds of food. The REALLY crazy thing was that Mom went the whole 50 feet out there to check on the dog a few times while i was gone. They're not gonna let her starve. lol

And yeah, Morphine. I wonder what happened to manners and politeness too.

The example went right over your head bucko. I wasn't trying to show everyone what a prick I was, you were being the whiny s**t.

You can say anything you like about me, it doesn't matter a bit but I can personally guarantee that your viewpoint will alter appreciatively WHEN you finally grow up.

Everything you just posted is such prepubescent bulls**t I have to laugh because I remember myself doing exactly the same thing.

You'll know you have matured when, you stop looking at me as the smartass and more of a kindred spirit.

(I am a smartass, but not the kind your trying vainly to illustrate)

"Prepubesent?"
I have taken a picture of my pubic hair to prove that I am past this stage: you can see them here http://www.dimebowl.com/pubes.jpg (actually, that's not real)

lol

the truth of the matter is, that just because you disagree with someone who is older than you, doesn't mean that you're being immature or stupid. Until you can realize this, it's not worth talking to you.

You are shifting your problem onto my shoulders as if it will have an impact upon the topic eventually.

Look, I don't care how immature you are. I am not your parents and as such, can shut you off with a flick of the switch. They on the other hand, have to deal with you because you "pay rent"

Listen up. Paying rent is simply "room and board". It doesn't guarantee rights, it doesn't grant you anything other than a place to put your pretty little noggin at night. In fact, it prolly doesn't even grant eating privileges.

If you are getting anything other than a bed, you are getting off easy so shut up and grow up.

Seriously, if somehow you think your situation is unique, you are even more of a child than you let on because you're not.

When you are 100%.. and I mean 100% responsible for your daily life, then and only then will you be independent. I was so at the ripe old age of 16. I have been an adult for almost that long.

I recall Scary_Jeff and I having this discussion once and he sounded then, like you do now. I wonder if he has any insights.. Next time we are in IRC with him lets ask him what a baby your are acting like Nickel.

What irritates me? Long arguments on the SnarkPit which just result in everyone getting angry...
 /runs

Seriously, what actually baits me is silly deadlines. For the past few weeks I've had 1000-word essays which are set the day before the deadline. Ugh.

To be fair to Nickel, that sort of thing with parents piling up 2 weeks of garbage would irritate me too, but to be fair to Orph, there are a few things that can be complained about that don't necessarily warrant being complained about. At the end of the day it comes down to how much you should be responsible for depending on how much independance you have, and it's just a matter of deciding where you put the boundaries.

And? When did this Epiphany come upon you Master Gwil? I may be mistaken, but I seem to recall a few sessions where you and I had an almost similar conversation as Nickel and I just had.

In fact, I am asking ALL of the oldtimers. If you recall a similar conversation with ME, where you thought I was being a prick back then but you now have another perspective PLEASE speak up and tell us how you view my outlook now.

I am genuinely curious to see just how many called me funny names back then who now see that some of what I said is not so wild.

Anyone?

I realize that a few of you still think me sad and misguided but I wanna hear from those who have genuinely altered their viewpoint since they have aged a few years.

I've lived away from home in another country, i'm more than qualified

Dude, what the fook?

I am relating to the point about housing, really - you need to get over

a much more horrible world (especially in the UK) than you did, so
don't try and say we are the gifted generation.

I'm pissed right now.

On Guild Wars, some guy was advertising a new build. I went out of my way to build a new character, and buy some runes just to join his group and try it out. I was only able to get to 1 point under a certain attibute (like 15 smiting is so different than 16) and he kicks me off. Certain that I was off, he forgot to check that I was still in vent. The bastard goes on about how much of a noob I am, and how I need to run off to Random Arenas (In a voice like he was talking to a little kid). If I was a GW dev, I would have banned his account right there. F**king a**hole.

I take the high road and just let him babble on, and he starts fighting with someone else.

For all of my fans, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

About the guildwars, here's what you should do: Make a completely different character and get on his good side, then team-kill him and steal all his stuff. Then get on ventrillo and talk about what a n00b he is and use his exact words. It takes a long time, but it was totally worth it when i did it on Diablo 2.

Gwil, you have no clue how my childhood was and insinuating that yours was somehow worse than mine is not only insulting its... Well, it has no baring here in an open forum.

Whatever your problem was tonight, I don't want to be in the middle of it. You are about an inch away from my saying what I really think about your childhood. But, since I really don't know much more about it, than you do mine it will just end up a stupid pissing contest.

Try to imagine everything you can that a child can suffer and you will only have scratched the surface of my young life.

My advice, unless you really want me to tell you what I had to endure, do not try to compare our childhoods. Its a contest where we both will lose something.

Its also a price I would be willing to pay. Can you say the same.

One time, we ran out of Lucky Charms brand cereal, and I didn't have the magically delicious taste for like a WEEK. I don't know what all of you are so worried about.

Fatstrings, you good-grades, non-hunting queer: I like Bush, and you're getting a lecture when you get to class tomorrow. And there's nothing wrongwith telling someone they are ging to hell, because most ppl ARE these days. Sorry.
I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

I'm not "enraged" or hostile.

... That reminds me, s**tty horror movies piss me off too.

Kristanna Loken is the s**ttiest actress ever (YES, EVER), I don't care if she's hot, she was the worst Terminator EVER. Go f**k up some other thing I never cared about in the first place ... oh yeah, Bloodrayne just came out. (Goddamn you Uwe Boll)

Something else to add ....

Um ...

Donald Trump trying to trademark "You're Fired". That look Alexander Hamilton gave me when I bought some Salsa flavored Doritos (THE BEST DORITOS FLAVOR EVER) ... uh ... Dan Rather.

If you want a list of things I like it'd be much longer than any hate list. For instance: air. I like air.

Uhm, "Matra-see" is correct. It's the plural form of Matrix (unless I mixed them up, which I doubt). Like "Combine those Matricies" ... or do you mean he/she replaces the singular form with it too? In that case: he and or she is a douche.

I HATE it when people ask me "why" when they find out I don't eat pork!

Youve got a lot of valid points. The only thing I think you need to
experience first before "hating" is the MMORPGS. Sure you have to pay
to play, but those games are well worth the money. As well as the
support, and constant updates that the producers provide. Maybe its
just outside of Blizzard that MMORPGS suck to pay to play, but
generally blizzard constantly feeds the game with more content, and
provides great customer service for 15$ a month.

Just some more things to add:

-The F&*% bags in my age group who drive like morons and raise my
insurance prices because THEY get in car wrecks, and cause my age group
to be the "irresposable drivers".

-The Duchebags that trick their cars out with 28 inch rims, subs, and
the monitors in their head rests" when instead they should be putting
that money twards their education!

-I hate people who have an inate obsession with celebrities, who care
what they are doing: YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT PARIS HILTON DID! She used a
public bathroom; YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT JESICA SIMPSON HAD FOR LUNCH!!!
Salad....

-I hate the phrase "I still want to be friends"
