Okay, this is starting to piss me off, and it's becoming a problem as
far as the size of my maps folder is concerned. Every time I close
hammer and reopen it, then try to compile Bloody Ore it says file write
failure, but when I save it under a different name it compiles just
fine. WTF is doing this?!
I'm allergic to tequila, it makes me break out in felonies.

Windows has certain limits on how big a folder can contain. Mybe it was
your wording, or maybe im just sluggish tonight, but maybe you said that your
folder is gigantic? If so delete some of the stuff in there and try
again.

Post your compile log please

Wierd, is it writing the .bsp files out and making them read only or something? Right click on one of the maps it won't let you compile over and see if it is set as read only in its file properties.

Just a thought. Make sure "Verbose" isn't on.

Perhaps the ungodly text file it generates is doing it.
