That 4 GB limit is getting annoying. And now providers start to sell similar products with much better flatrates for the same price. I want to get a DSL connection by "inode" and only want to spend under 40?.

Now I can either choose the 2024/512 kBit/s offer with a 5Gbyte transfer limit and a "Nightflatrate" (traffic from 10pm to 7am is ignored for the download/upload-limit).

OR

The 1024/256 kBit/s offer with "unlimited Traffic" (no download/upload limit).

They cost almost the same. Considering I can load as much as I want from 10 to 7 at a higher speed the first offer is equally attractive. Don't say it's a matter of taste because both taste equally good for me. :dodgy:

Here's the website:

http://www6.inode.at/inode.at/privat/internet/xdsl-privat/

It's in Tsch?rmen but thanks to the slightly embarrassing trend of using English as the "trendy" language for everything you should even be able to understand most of the gibber.

Honestly.. hm... it's a hard pick. I'm the kind of guy that downloads a lot and would prefer freedom in downloading as much as I want.. I'd go for the second offer. I've never had a traffic limit but it sounds quite painful. The first offer is twice as fast but when you can only download so much it's kind of limiting.. and you'll hit that limit twice as fast.

I'd say it's mostly up to how much you really use the internet, how much downloading you do, etc..

BTW, how long does that 5gb limit last? Is it like weekly or monthly?

lol, monthly. All monthly. I just searched the site again and it seems new offers have appeared within the last few days. Maybe they are what I'm looking for.

I would go with something that has unlimited bandwidth, since ISP speeds are very difficult to guarantee.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

What he said ^^

2mbs/1mbs won't actually have much discernable difference I think. Most
of the download caps and pings are limited by servers so go for the
unlimited and always be safe.

The more I think of it the more the 2024 kBit offer seems to be an army of alien grunts.

I took the liberty of releiving you of your downloads. Most of them were AOL/TimeWarner property. As for the lawsuit... I think youve earned it.

Lower speeds-unlimited is better than higher speed and limited... Unless you can guarantee that you'll need the bigger bandwidth and not use all of it.
