iv been looking all over the site and
searching the forms but i can't seem to figure out how to post a map.
maybe i over looked something simple but if someone could tell me how
to submit a map i would appreciate it. ;

Yes, you can only create a map thread after you have added the map to your profile.
If the map is a work in progress I would strongly recommend making a map thread asap as long as you have some actual work done. Getting feedback from the members her as soon as possible will make the map much better ... as long as you are open to criticism and suggestions. Neither of which should be negatively-detrimental, of course.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Posting hear has been a huge help. If i hadn't the map I'm working on now would have definitely been a pile of crap with out the opinions iv herd hear so far. I still could be, but now it at least has potential :biggrin:

Like any game it had it's bad levels. Many of the levels are spectacular for the way the game plays. Much of the game is how well u can do against one or more people on a flat unprotected surface. not that u run into that to often (except on hangemhigh) and i can't even think of a level with a dead end. Half Life 2 DeathMach and halo are so different in game play they don't translate. If u copied Blood Gulch directly to HLDM it probably be the worst map u ever played. Same for lockdown.

My god, kill boxes and the people who make them suck. The first time i played hldm i was waiting forever to download those s**tty maps. Almost every server i joined was a kill box. I stopped playing because of it. It was months before i gave it anther try.
