I leave for one day and two pages of computer specs show up.
Anywhom,
  • Windows 2000 Professional
  • Pentium 4 2.8Ghz
  • ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256Mb Direct X 9.0c
  • 1 Gig DDR RAM
  • On board sound
  • Dual 200Gb HDs(I was actually running out of room until I deleted...certain things...)
My desktop resolution is 1024X768, and I play the same in Source games with only server lag.

Intel Pentium M 1600 megahertz

1 G.B. random access memory

60 G.B. harddrive (I haven't even filled half  )

Geforce 6200 with only 16 megabytes local memory.

*acquired sept 2005

It runs Half-Life 2 okay at 800 x 600 resolution with all at medium. It's the kind of rig that is always there for you and if it breaks you miss it but when it's working so very well (which it always does) you get bored of it. I had a close call where the fan was broken and it kept overheating but I opened it up and removed the fan and opened it's casing and found that a component label was blocking the fan from moving around. So who says that you can't open laptops, eh?

Quite very pissible infact. To make up for it, the card uses this gimmick dubbed "TurboCache(T.M.)" .

Listen to this disgusting thing I heard: This guy fries a burger and then soaks up all the burger grease with some bread then eats it! omg, omg, omg!

What 22" LCD did you go for Nickel? I'm looking to go for one too you see, and all the ones I'm considering seem to have their flaws. I woulda gone for the 24" Dell which by most people's accounts is pretty much flawless, but there's no way I could run games with top settings on it at it's native resolution of 1920x1200!

ReNo: I ended up getting this one. It was and still is priced awesomely.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824009102

I used to have trouble with Acer products, but we have some of their 15" flats at work and I think i have yet to see one dead pixel in 9 monitors.

I originally got this monitor, but cancelled my order to get a bigger/wide one.

Anyway, we shall see just how good it turns out to be. I shold be recieving it on saturday.. maybe today...
