I don't get the first one. Different colored text doesn't change the words on the screen. It's not like this text color is gonna make you call 'black' white when you read it aloud.

The one with the pink dots is pretty cool.
I also tried spooky.exe and it was interesting; gave me motion sickness.
I also showed it to my cat, and it said "meow".

Keep looking, the green dot will start to make the purple dots disappear. Never saw this one , and it's really cool actually. Wonder how it works
</DIV></DIV>
Your eyes try to get used to the color of the dots by producing fake, negative images, for example, the dots are actually colored magenta, and magenta's negative is green. The magenta from the dots sends a stronger impulse to the eyes' red and blue "sensors". Your brain then tries to counter this effect by sending a fake green signal to your eyes, so eventually you start seeing gray. The dissapearing dots look like green dots because the adaptive process of actually making the fake signals takes a while to change.
What I thought was cool was the spider one.
Edit: Just tried the spooky.exe. THAT is awesome!

Okay, just go down to a craft store pick up two sheets of colored cellophane one primary red and one primary blue. Figure the rest out. In any case that isn't real 3D.
They work well for changing the color of a light too.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

That's a really nice example of how you brain fills in peripheral vision.
Can't you also use those really expensive glasses that hook into your video card (or used to) that flicker at high frequencies to see the 3D image?
