Orrin! Sounds close to Orpheus, in my eyes!
Congratulations Jon, good time for the nipper to be here to see Christmas and all. Although if i was a month old, I dunno if i'd want a whole lot of cooing family around me. Perhaps a brandy, a Yule Log and a good nap

Right now, I imagine the only thing on his mind, is a new diaper, or a booby. :heee:

A sign that you're getting old is when newborns begin to look cute. At least from a males perspective. All women think newborns are cute. MOST women are in a tragic state of denial.
That said, this young'un is cute. Not puppy cute, but close.

Once when i was 10, a neighbor walked up with a baby and said "isn't he cute" expecting an answer. I said "he looks like kuato". Luckily she hadn't seen the movie.
Not the case hear. Tis a cute baby. Congrats!!
Reality has become a commodity.

Congrats gramps.
As for babies being cute, maybe if I'm just looking at a picture. The cuteness disappears when they drop a turd in their pants and have a cry because of it. Can't say I blame them for the crying part, think I would too.
Might change my mind when I have one of my own.

Grandson is doing fine. Copious amounts of poop are issuing forth from the posterior end with an almost equal amount of drool from cutting teeth issuing from the other end.
/me looks forward to the sound of papaw soonish.. "Papaw, me wants..."
