Please, if you have any issues where your login is acting strangely or you're getting "unassigned node" errors (Or whatever it is), post here and tell me. I haven't received any feedback from the hosts (lamers) as to why any of this might be happening and i'm fairly certain (99%) that the errors weren't down to site code/database issues as nothing has been edited lately.

Prompt me ASAP if any strange login errors occur again, as i'll need to restrict access. IRC is the ideal medium!

Just in time Gwil, I was starting to get snarkpit withdrawal symptoms. That includes lack of concentration, restlessness and hallucinations.

I tried to add a new thread with some screens to the maps section and i got "NO SUITABLE NODES AREA AVAILABLE TO SERVER YOUR REQUEST"

I tried to show u a thumb but apparently it only happens when you try to submit pics.

One of those again eh :/ Weird - it seems to be a server side problem RedWood, not much I can do about it currently except wait on Globat to respond to my irate support tickets.

Well at least you won't have to deal with it.
I hope it's resolved soon though.

I reckon it's gremlins camping in the tubes, capturing and hording the shiny internets as they pass by.

Got the "No suitable nodes are available to serve your request." error when trying to edit my post in the desktop thread. It apparently, went through, though, as I went to the thread again and it was updated. I imagine some of the times of the update and such weren't recorded properly, though.

That sounds like your cache, aaron_da_killa rather than a website error, as the error page is in a different directory now.

Crono: Yeah, I've also had a couple. Globat insist there is nothing wrong with their servers/databases though :/

That doublepost is at least a little bit ironic

I've been getting the "No suitable nodes" message every time I submit a reply, but the posts go through. Weird stuff.

Edit: except that time

Gwil, this host is total arse.

Its not just the main site - even the backend control panel stuff like phpmyadmin is so slow at times as to be almost unusable. Waiting 20-30s for a single page refresh is ridiculous, let alone suffering the dreaded nodes issue. ftp is painful at times too.

I ran into a completely different error the other day regarding the server having reached its cap for concurrent php instances (or something similar) which is usually related to running very poorly coded scripts with loads of loops and whatnot... but I'd be willing to bet globat simply have too many other sites on this shared server which is why everything is running cr*p
