It stopped working for me and a few other people. If it wont load up for you and gives this error:

"Steam.exe(main exception) Win32 Structure Exception at 01490418: attenp to write to virtual address 64687128 without appropriate acces rights"

"The instruction at "0x01083efd" referenced memory at "0x014a7048. The memory could not be read."

You can fix it by deleting the "clientregistry.blob" file in your steam folder.

Load steam up and it should start updating itself and be magically fixed. Bless those computer faries.

Steam just refused to start here.

After several deletions of the registry.blob file, it now loads up, but prevents me from using my start menu (!!!) and can't launch a game.

God bless Valve.

A_S, you should be ashamed! That avatar is a sad replacement for Burns.

But what do I know, I replaced my beautiful running man with a communist airplane...

Burns just isn't me though. I have the evil streak, but I don't have the billions.

Ontopic:

Optimized VGUI ?

No really ... it hides my system clock (?), and prevents me from using my start menu sometimes.

I mean like ... 22 mb of resources.

God Bless Valve.
