Its all very well to have a new forum (The Art forum is a good idea) but having this many is just... Silly really. Even with the popularity of the snarkpit I can't see how all these boards are going to be kept in use. Besides who edits for Unreal? No one is the answer to that question. Anyone else think the same?

I think the UnrealEd forum was a bit hasty, but we'll see about the Radiant one- I'd like it to stay. I'll get some pimpage going though

So a forum doesn't get used? Who gives a s**t, it can just be deleted. Having the 2d art board will encourage people to post textures and perhaps texturing tutorials.

Seriously- people come here for the HL aspect because they knew that it was a good place to come for HL resources. Expanding a site to contain resources for other games will, in turn, possibly pull in people who are interested in those games. I mean, I really doubt anyone came here saying "I map for XxXxX game, but HL seems kewl so I shall stick to that and join in the partying," they came here because of the reputation. Add to the reputation, add to the people who will come and contribute for those games.
Plus, the dirty, overjudgemental A_S may have a somewhat decent point, possibly, in the fact that it doesn't really matter if they don't get used- if poeple need them they are there. No harm in that.

You can't just expect every board shining with thousands of post in the very beginning of their lifetime.
I would sure like to give the Radiant Forum a try.
With the increasing amount of CoD mappers, and lots of other games where the Radiant editor is used/will be used to create maps, we have to.
