I was taking a look at the time zone break down of the site, and noticed a rather odd anomaly. Of course, the huge spike at 0 is just people who don't bother setting the time, there are currently 40 people on this site who believe they are in the -10 timezone. The largest non-Antartica landmass in the -10 timezone is the main island of Hawaii! Are there really three times as many mappers on this site in Hawaii and French Polynesia than there are in the entire US East Coast? Nope. Just a bunch of people are morons.

Some of us come from a freak state that doesn't have daylight savings time, so I never know what the hell is going on in other timezones...

Um, actually, I think things may have been a bit messed up when I changed the system so it could handle +30 minute timezones- most of those -10 timezones were people listed with -9.9 (for some strange reason), I've shunted them all into -9 but meh :/

Oh. I read Cash's post as " there are currently 40 people on this site who believe they are in the +10 timezone", and started wondering who all my new friends were.

Totally relevant, but prolly as unimportant LINK as any we have seen/used around here :/

[edit] just checked mine, was set wrong, but only by one zone, tis now correct, but i was sure it had been already, /me wonders if daylight savings screwed it up when it switched  [/edit]
