Apparently a majority of steam users have lost eveyrbody on their friends list.

Just think of it as spring cleaning.. getting rid of old friends who no longer use steam, and reaffirming those who still value your friendship.

Those are some mighty strong words to use in a title..

Haha I think I only have one Steam friend because I only created an account a month or so ago, so I don't care.

I didn't have any issues either. It seems like the worst of Steam is always happening to you hlman. Sorry to hear about this.

Maybe it has something to do with the beta release of the new Steam UI. (you can enable it in the Steam settings)

Actually it also happened to millions of other steam users, google 'steam lost friends list' and see over 80 pages of people complaining about it.

EDIT: I also love how everybody goes "It didn't happen to me lulwut", Well, if you have been on the DAY it happened, you would have known if it happened to you or not.

Check the date of the OP, and then compare it to the date of the posts saying they weren't affected... hrm.

Happened to my list ... didn't sweat it ... it came back when they refreshed their systems. Not really a big deal. People just jump the gun.

Depends, if you are like me and are homeschooled, you don't meet your friends at school, which takes away over 6 hours of socializim with them, which is where you turn to steam.

Of course you people who have 'normal' lives and have 'real friends' who make fun of us people don't give a shit if your socialism network goes down, what more would i expect from the 'normal' people.
