More pools would be fun as long as they fill their purpose.

Oh . . . I voted "yay"
Wait, when we tell others our vote, doesn't that defeat the purpose of a poll? I mean, because if you know who voted what, you might change your desition based on someone elses vote.

Crono, you seem to have a curse of 'killing threads' (i.e. there are a lot of topics that have ended with you as the last poster  )

i voted "meh" ... i think polls are silly, you can get better results (from peoples posts, not just some silly forum statistic that means nothing) by just asking a question.

Really, I'd like to know why no one really posts after I do . . . I really don't want to be a thread killer . . . and uh, thanks for the lepour raspberies . . . I have to go wash my shirt. . . gah . . .
[EDIT]
Don't you f**kin' do this! Someone post down there now! lol
Come on, doesn't anyone have any more opinion on polls . . . anyone . . . hello? . . . ohw

you may get better results from open forums, but polls, if used properly, could weed out the useless post attempts..
if you poll had say 5 possibilities, and were updated regularly, it could prove fruitful..
course, it would all depend on whom posted the poll, what they felt was prudent outcomes, and if they were unbiased enuff to allow a wide range of eventualities.
i can foresee positive outcomes, but it would take someone open minded to run them properly.. at this juncture, i have no suggestions on whom that could be, cause each of us has demonstrated a whole plethora of biases and quite a few negativities..
/ 2 cents

I can just see Lep having to create a new forum dedicated entirely to polls.
