OK, we've got HL (and provisional HL2), Q3 and CoD sections. Any more planned additions?

Personally I'd like to see a BF42 section, but thats just me.

Why not just make a WWII section?

Then it could have Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Battlefield, Wolfenstein, and so on.

I'm thinking the menu should be like this: "General", "Maps", "Art", "Editing", and "All That Other s**t".

Come to think of it, you could just have an all-game editing forum.

I guess Unreal would be quite easy to do, I could just pretend 2003 and 2004 are different 'mods'?

That would be the best way probably, seeing as Epic wants to make UT like the FIFA series... :/ (Of course, it would be twice as cool if I'd actually finished any UT2k3 maps, but anyway)

They aren't planning on any more yearly updates apparently frag, so comparisons to FIFA are somewhat unfair.

Putting the Unreal games all in one category makes sense, as each game effectively uses the same engine, just different versions. The editors for all the games are virtually identical as well.

But if you're looking for a map for one game, you have to slog through the maps for the others as well. Not that I see a huge amount of Unreal maps getting posted here, but it's far more simple from an end-user perspective to give each game its own category.

There's a few . . . seems Vash has a new found passion for it . . . I don't know if he stuck with it he probably saw an ant crawling by and forgot what Unreal was lol.

Not if it piggybacks the mod system this site uses...

Monqui, he's probably talking about the demo.

There's a list of mirrors here

I know, but mapping for a demo is pretty sketchy at best...

I actually have the Demo, just never installed it for some reason... keep meaning to, just never seem to get around to it.

Ooooh Onslaught rocks, and the return of Assault seems to be lovely judging from the demo map. Go install and enjoy  My whole flat has preordered from the same website, should be a fun day when it arrives, which should be almost exactly the same time as we get ADSL installed

Oh and if any UK folks want the game, I suggest you take a look on http://www.play.com as you can preorder it for a mere ?18.

UT2k4 definatly pays homage to the original UT (Music/Gametypes) If the demo is better than ut2k3 then the full game is going to kick ...

I second that notion. Including UT 2004 when it comes out.
