A few things....

Did any of you pre-order / buy / or pick it up off the shelf?
I like the cs game, although its not my favorite mod. (mostly because its the most hacked, and played for that matter) I own the platinum edition of hl, so i do play it though.
I was just thinking ....hmm....30$....
If i pre-ordered it , i could play it the minute it was released (its currently released, but im talking about the way they advertised it on steam)...
And that got me to thinking....if i can play it the minute its released wtf am i paying the 29.99 for? Why dont i need to do a 600mb download of a bunch of great new stuff??
Some new code, bots, a few new models?
s**t they could have put in an update?
I guess the biggest appeal for me is the fact it has bots that actually work, because i do enjoy bot-play a lot, and I cant seem to get any to work since steam.
That puts a sour taste in my mouth....but im still on the fence about it....
To buy or not to buy?
(currently leaning towards waiting for HL2 and letting this old game just die)

convenient, they ruin netplay for 56k people, then sell them an add-on that lets them play alone with bots

Bleh, cz was dead to me even before it "went gold"... the delays on it were far worse than the current outlook for HL2, and going through 4-5 developers didnt help either. It went from what seemed like a cool singleplayer mission-based CS to... CS with bots.

What? How did they ruin netplay for 56k? It's not like everyone moved over to steam...

But for all the people with 56k who did move over to s**team, it ruined their netplay.
