Woah, Woah. I am not by any means, a DBZ Fan-Boy. I use to play DragonMOD Z, True, but that was over a year ago. Ive seen a lot of images of ESF, and I know DBZMOD, so I can tell the differences between the HUD(s).
Besides, call me a DBZ FanBoy again, and I'll cut ya  .

My flatmate got DBZ - Budokai 2 for my PS2 and played it obsessively
for about 3 days, so suffice to say I can recognise it pretty well. Its
condemned to a life on the shelf now though

It's just a bad idea in general to go looking at the PHL POTD for something actually funny.

"911, yeah it's Quagmire. No, it's stuck in a window this time."
[EDIT]
I haven't seen the Ghost in the Shell series yet. But a lot of people I know said it blew ... but I refuse to believe them, as they are usually wrong.

Usually, if someone tells me some series is good I tell them to let me borrow it first. But in that, I saw Boogiepop Phantom, which is awesome. I also had a good feeling about Noir at one point, and I was right
I didn't think the Ghost in the Shell movie was that bad ... horribly different from the manga, but as a stand alone film, its fine ... moves a little slow though. However, I guess Oshii is gearing up to make a second film, staying truer to the manga this time.
I also prefer anime which isn't just shoot 'em up action. Stuff that has real depth is best, since it is something you won't get sick of easily. I mean, action gets old once you've memorized the movements just from seeing the sequence so many times. (Movies are the same way). Even the best action flicks have enough story behind them to back it up and make them interesting ... this thread is now completely derailed and burning in flames ... with no survivors.

Yeah, Boogiepop Phantom takes about 8 episodes to make sense, since there isn't even a main character until then (sort of). I didn't know Watanabe was onto another series, that's awesome. Oh, also, another reason why Boogiepop is sort of weird is because the anime series is like a very small piece of the manga, taken from the middle of the entire plot line, but it turns out to be really cool, and the name eventually makes sense.

call it ignorant jinx, or nothing at all.. dumb is what you said.. there is adult entertainment, and child entertainment, be it gaming, or video.
if i confused your cartoons with anything other than cartoons, it was due to ignorance..
next time.. think before you be an asshole, i think my question was innocent and valid.
you owe me an apology, cause THIS is EXACTLY how misunderstandings and flames occur, when people call people dumb.

Orph, I think what he was getting at was that in your question you looked down upon this form of entertainment (that is the way it came off).
And it was rather offensive to be honest. I don't think your question was dumb, however, and no offense, I do think it was rather arrogant.
It would be the same if you were talking to someone, 'debating', which is a better video game: HL or Hitman, for example, and some other person coming up and saying:
"excuse me, but you guys are not seriously debating the value of video games are you???"
I mean, you'd probably take offense in some way or another. Imagine if it was your job or something as such. (Also, I know your question seems out of context here, but it did when you asked it as well).
I'm not picking on your or anything, but that was just how I perceived your question, as I'm sure Jinx did.

jinx, knows me longer, i expect more from him than you, tis why i omitted you from this discussion.
you used the word "probably" take offense.. the answer truly would read, i would not find offense at all.. my wife tells me daily how childish pc games are.. i take no notice.
jinx on the other hand, was being an ass..but there again, i know jinx and its second nature to him..
my claim of ignorance is valid, and i feel it prudent in this situation.
i insist on this distinction, and as such it warrants an apology.
