Aside from that, I got to have a spin in this! Some guy nearly fell of his bike looking at it when it was parked in the driveway. Later in work, I told some drunk girls that I owned it and they asked for a spin... idiots.

If anyone is going to steal it, I will. I have a picture of my friend pretending to break the lock on the door with a big screwdriver.

On a sad note, this was probably the best moment of my life and now it's over..

I think a dark blue would suit it better.

Way to ruin a perfectly good car by painting in that horrific colour scheme!

And yeah, exactly HOW did you get behind the wheel of such a fine machine?

I didn't get to actually drive it, I was just stuck to the passenger seat going really really fast.

I'm not really sure why it's that colour, and I don't particularly like the wheels but I wasn't going to start complaining when it was sitting in my driveway and I was busy soiling my pants.

... Now are you talking about American economy cars or muscle cars?

Secondly. I don't know if you noticed, but most people in America drive Japanese economy cars. (Honda/Acura, Nissan, Toyota/Lexus, and a crap load of others). Basically the only American car companies are Ford and GM. Almost any other American car company you can think of is most likely owned by GM.

I see more Hondas and Acuras then Fords daily.

I can't remember if BMW is American, but somehow I doubt it.

By the way, Lamborghinis are ugly as hell.

I don't know about american economy cars at all, but I do know that BMW is German.

I was talking about 'muscle' cars

Hey man, don't bash muscle cars, they can compete with most any sports car. It just depends on which muscle car you're thinking of

German, that's what I was thinking. I just couldn't remember exactly.

The weird thing is, techinically Acura is an American car company. Since, in Japan, an integra is just a Honda, its the same thing with Lexus, they're just Toyotas.

I saw a really nice convertable the same colour as that car today Alien_Sniper... had some bitches in it driving around pretending to be cool, but as they say in family guy-

People with nice cars and a big home are buying it to say "Look at my cool expensive stuff, not my small penis!"

Are Lexus, Toyota? I never knew that...and to be honest I'm not convinced. Acura / Honda are the same (and a Japanese company) and this is apparent due to the fact they are the same models, and the same could be said for Vauxhall / Opel. Lexus / Toyota however, have very different models, so I wouldn't have paired them as the same company  Or is Lexus the luxury division of Toyota?

Thats just a quote poor people say to make themselves feel better. Expensive things are generally expensive because they are sought after - I know very few people who wouldn't buy a nice car / house if they could easily afford it (and I don't mean "Oh I have just enough money to buy this" - I mean "Oh I have silly amounts of cash, might as well buy this!")

Lincon mercury and ford are the same also, but as for the color, it looks like the type of paint that changes color as the light changes around it, it may just be that the light that was hitting it made it purple, in a lower light it would be blue, you may think im crapping you-all but im not about the paint.

I don't think it is, those tend to look somewhat both colours at the same time. Though it is that shade of pink/purple that those cars always seem to use...along with a dark green as I recall.

Yeah, Reno, Lexus is Toyota, they basically gave it (like Nissan's Dautsun) a new name in case the car line bombed. Honda did it with Acuras as well.

I know that in most other contries, Honda IS Acura, like you can buy a Honda Integra.

However, if you want a list of subsidiary car comanies ... look at GM ... holy crap. By the way, Vauxhall/Opel is owned by GM  I thought Dodge was too, but they're not.

So, there's three American car companies: GM, Ford, Dodge (or who ever owns them).

Nope. Dodge is own by Daimler-Chrysler

I think Ford and GM are the only two left.

The muscle cars can't compete with european (/japanese) sports cars.

And yes Myrk, I'm sure those girls were just making up for their small willys  It is really fun driving/being a passenger in a nice convertable... maybe this is paret of the reason why people buy them
