Hello all, think Ive only posted here 3 or 4 times, but always found this site helpful, I took the advise from someone here and redesigned the site.
Im looking to add some content in respect to maps you really like or recommend, for any mod
If you would like to showcase any of your maps (in the gallery) then take as many screenshots as you feel needed, 800x600 jpg, then zip them and send to me, or drop by the forums with a link where I can get them, also looking for some map reviewers for the reviews section.

I'm not much into this kind of stuff, but one thing does jump out at me. the background you have used for the text makes it hard on the eyes.

True ... get rid of the horizontal lines behind the text. Will make the site much lighter too, because it's a bit laggy when I'm scrolling.

I don't mind the background, overall it looks pretty good.
But please, don't disable right clicks - honestly what is the point when you are using phpnuke? All it does is stop people from opening links in a new window... Also, that permenant 'nukethemepark' thing annoys me

Looks good, but ACK, no right click! The internet, unlike television, is a medium in which the user should browse according to his/her choosing in a nonlinear way. The best websites make it easy to go to anywhere on the site from anywhere else on the site in any way they choose (like an encyclopedia), rather than having prescribed paths which the user must go through in prescribed ways (like TV).

thx for your comments, I do agree about the "laggy" scrolling, it must be delt with, as for no right click, I still dont understand how it would be of conciderable help if you could. And Ill experiment with the backgrounds for the text areas:)

Total file size of the page is 129k plus the small logo, which is small file size, but my web host often takes a while to retrieve info from the database servers, nothing to do with site file sizes. Sometimes the page loads in an instant, other times it takes ages, this is out of my control
As for the "borrowed" background and Gordon and alex, these were released by valve as a part of their media pack.
I still dont see valid reasons to enable right click. You can access the entire site without the use of right click so this isent helping me improve the site. I am glad for your views comments but something so trivial as this is not a concern.
I do appreciate direction, and welcome any suggestions regarding design/looks features etc.
