Why would it need to be revived when it already exists?

No one updates the site and it is not used so it is basically dead. I know what I'm talking about.

Nobody updates the Valve-ERC, but the collective is fairly well
updated. Check out the forums, the place is definately not dead, and
articles get written up there fairly often.

Collective was setup up as the sequal to ERC but I enjoyed ERC a lot more than I do THE collective. I just wish someone would resurrect ERC so that I can go to the forums and submit maps.

Did you actually look at the link Kage and I gave you? Besides, I think after 5+ years there's very little about HL editing that hasn't been posted.

The only difference is the site layout....it's effectively the same
thing, just with a new coat of paint and URL. Same old forums, same old
entity info, same old tutorials...

The reincarnation, not the sequel.

i never particularly like it, it was clear full of those kinds of members we strive to keep out of here.. so it won't hurt my feelings if its up or down.

Collective is a lot better than the old VERC, in my opinion. It's all
run by a PHP thingamajig, so basically it can still operate and update
itself without Autolycus or any intervention by Valve. Plus, I like the
article formatting options better than Snarkpit's
