I lost my CD for it someplace in my house, still have the box and manual, just cant find the CD. And I have a sudden urge to play the game. I was able to find it on the internet but all the sounds are not working.
Was wondeirng if anyone had the game or a good link to where I could download it. Thanks.

Even though you own the game I still think Lep won't allow this topic
on the grounds that it is requesting links to software which must be
purcahsed.

Oh geeze I remember this game! I loved it! I think I got to around the
6th level in Campaign mode; I would usually just get a crapload of
macemen and march all over. And the castle-building mode! Cutting up
rival realms, forcing serfs to work in the fields, ahh... Good times!
Then I remember how disappointed I was by Lords of Magic.

on a really sad note, i have a legit copy of lords 1.. at the time i bought it, i also had a compaq PC with rescue disk capabilities. in other words, you pop the disk into the cd, reboot and it reformats your PC, or fixes things if its able.
to make a long story short, my lords disk, if i accidentally left it in the cd/rom and rebooted, it would re-write something key to the system and i was forced to reformat 3 or 4 times.
the disk is packed away, i hope to never see it again.

awesome game indeed
together with warlords2 this has to be one of my favourite old-time strategy games.
i only got the speech wav files for warlords2 though
"Thy enemies mock thy feable endeavours"
"All thy gold must surely be a burden"
..and so on
