Yes, as the title proclaims, I have just finished Resident Evil 4. I
must say that next to Half-Life 2, this is the best game I have played
in quite some time. Took me eighteen hours to beat.

If you want I could write a review based on my play-time with it.
Although it'll be once I get some sleep...All nighter to finish this
bitch, but it was worth it.

Bastard!

Gotta wait 'til march... At least there will be plenty to play in
that month for me (MGS 3, Brothers In Arms, and now this). Silly PAL
conversions and their inability to take short amounts of time to finish.

I've been playing through MGS3, and I have to say that while it put me off quite a bit in the beginning, I've really come to love it. I think that it is probably my favorite out of the MGS line of games.

I would highly suggest it for anyone who liked either the first or second "Solid" games.

Loads of games I'm looking forward to over the next couple of months -
RE4, DOA:U, SC:Chaos Theory, KOTOR2, Jade Empire, Mechassault 2 (to an
extent, first was hit and miss), Otogi 2, Forza Motorsport (depending
on how it turns out), Project Zero 2 (finally coming out on Xbox)....

That's the European version of "Fatal Frame," no? If so, I wouldn't get your hopes too high up. I ran through a bit of the game, and while it still holds a pretty damn scary environment, something about it just makes it feel more like a game rather than a real situation (which is why I loved the first one). It's not a bad game, and the gameplay mechanincs are pretty similar, but I dunno... It just feels different.

They broke the deal with Ninty, it's heading for PS2 at some point,
though I think it will remain a GC exclusive for quite a while.

Ya, I just beat RE4 a few days ago, and it is a great game. They did
pretty much everything right. Story, controls, gameplay, graphics, etc.
It also seemed harder too, seeing as how I died oh so many times.

And ya, I don't think it will be on PS2 until later in the year (fall, maybe?)

RE4 seems like a great game. Looking forward to it. Someone said in an
older RE4 thread that RE4 would be released for PS2, if I remember
right.

My flatmates are absolutely engrossed in the European beta, they have
seriously spent about 10 hours a day at least on it since it came out
Monqui, I heard from most reviews and things that the second one wasn't
as good as the first, but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless. I
enjoyed hunting down all the ghosts and things in the first

f**k WoW. I am so god damn tired of point-and-click games. Don't even talk about those games in this god damn thread.

World of Warcraft said:
Attacking: To attack a creature, move within range (move to where you can see the attack cursor when
you mouse over the creature - a grayed out cursor means you are out of range) and right-click on the creature.
You will enter attack mode. Move your character next to the creature and you will automatically begin to attack.
In addition to right-clicking on a creature, you may also select the "attack" icon from the Action Bar.

You know ... technically all FPS games are point and click ... The curser is just replaced with a crosshair ... but anyway.

RE4 looks badass. It's probably the only RE game I've ever been looking forward to before it came out.

In an FPS you don't click on a guy and the game automatically attacks until he or you is dead.

Same with me, the game put me off due to the fact that there was no
radar.....maybe im getting too soft.....but yes the game is complex and
fun, the story answers a few questions from the other MGS games, and
raises some new questions. Over all this game was better than MGS2,
merely because its long and takes place over a variety of areas (unlike
MGS2).

Just one question: How long did it take you to beat "The End"(a sniper for those who dont know)? Took me 3 hours.....on Hard.

Jesus! 3 hours?

Took me about 20 or so minutes to get a stun kill on him.

He's not so bad if you use the IR goggles all the time- you can pick him out easily enough if you try hard enough, and when he runs away, you can follow his footprints. Plus, if you sneak up behind him and hold him up, you get his cammo

But I can see how it would take you a while... took me forever the first time I played through on Normal, since I had no idea what was going on.

Let me answer your question with another question:

Is it really necessary to be an asshole? No, but people decide to be one anyway.
