Aaaaah! I'm not alone!
Ozzy, you have RPG closure issues. You know that once you enter the
cave that the end, you can't realy go back. But Omnislashing Sephiroth
at the end is most satisfying. (except when I first did it, and he
attacked me first, giving a rather damp squib type counter attack.
Replayed from my last save straight away though.)

I know. Hence "realy". But its the final path, as it were.
Oh, I was shocked and, to be honest, downright f**king appauled to see
that Reno is holding his Cane/magical stick of poke-dom in his RIGHT
hand in a still. He's LEFT handed. Freaks. When I get my copy, I'll be
watching it in a mirror, for authenticity's sake. For SHAME
Square-Enix, for shame.

That golden Chocobo was indeed challenging but doing it twice made me smile
Have you seen the Playstation 3 trailer for it? It shows the intro of FF7 but in high graphics.

Ozzy, your friends are lying to you. The final fights are a pushover,
and you can get your levels up to scratch with the enemies in the cave.
But if you're starting from scratch (a good idea) don't run from the
frickin battles. Other than the weapons, the hardest FF7 boss for me
was Barret vs. Dyne. Took me about 10 attempts (3 right, 3 up from the
desert prison, if I remember correctly).
Actually, this thread has revived my love of FF7 that I'm going to start from scratch also.

HA HA HA haahaha HAHAHAHA hahaha That is the worst costume I have ever seen!
Funny though because I was thinking about how cool it would be to ride on a Chocobo around town and people stare at you as you go past them really fast.
And they go 'wtf is that thing!?'
It would be so funny if Barret had a 'Mr T' voice on FF7 Advent

Again, this is an RPG closure issue. I think we can start a support group.

Yeah. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, I hear. So I'm VERY
flattered that you both imitate my avatar and even use Reno as a nick.
On my revisit to FFVII, I'm currently at the Shinra tower (breaking in
through the front for once, I normally take the stairs, which is a
great way to cause wrist strain). I'm 6 hours in, since I talk to
everyone and do everything I can, but I can remember when I first
played it.
I was expecting that after the kickass bike sequence, that would be end
of disc one, rather than simply a prologue to the game itself! Which,
given that few games take that long to complete on all modes put
together, was a HELL of a surprise when I saw the world map. The whole
way through the first disc, at nearly every point I kept thinking,
"right this MUST be the end of disc one". Aaaah memories....
Incidently, my mother literally cries "ooooooh noooooo!" when she hears
the world map theme. She says its ingrained into her head, through my
constant overplaying. And I ask myself why I'm still single?
I'm SERIOUSLY stoked about Advent Children though. I know it might
sound gushing etc, but I'd put the Final Fantasy 7 world up there with
Lord of the Rings in terms of epic fantasy.
