Thanks A_S, I've been hard at work on some new stuff. I did move recently so that slowed me down some. I bought a copy of painter 8 and have been trying to get into the advanced features, it a pretty awesome program. That and I upgraded to photoshop CS.
I should be back on a DSL speed connection in a few weeks, I'll post some stuff then.
I have been having some computer trouble also, maybe you guys can help me out, I'll post it in its own thread though.

Dude, its just a joke picture, cool it. It's called an AIRSOFT gun and its completely non-lethal, I'm not dumb enough to "play" with real ones. I was not trying to be cool, it was more of an inside joke between a few friends, so stop overreacting.
I'm tired of old people thinking "f**kin kids" are "dumb sh**ts" and ignorant. Just because you are twice my age doesn't mean you are any more mature.

The point? I don't know. How about for a good laugh? It was taken mocking the same type of kids you mentioned. But what you have to understand is that not all kids are like that. You shouldn't flip out and jump to conclusions.

I don't uderstand why you are making a bi deal out of a picture of me holding a fake gun on a website based around games where there are not only guns, but guns against real people online. I'm in no way at all saying computer and video games are a bad influence, but neither is a picture of me with an airsoft pistol.

Skel dude, I don't mind the picture, but the caption you associated it with made it beyond tasteless.

My apologies, I'll edit it off. It was a joke between me and Cass. Thank you, Tracer, for telling me in a respectful way. If there's anything that you should know, Brass, it's thatswearing at people and flaming them doesn't make matters any better.

man, i am glad i missed this one... most times, what pisses doc off, doesn't do me any good either.. guess i am old too.
thanx for solving it TB
i would suggest to the young tho, do NOT confuse "over reaction" to "immaturity" because you really don't know what will trigger an adults defense mechanism, and most adults have no good mental images of children with guns.
doc might have over reacted, but seldom is he immature, and frankly, i support cussing people out, doesn't win me any friends sometimes, but i guarantee when i am standing there, it gets results

I always thought Airsoft guns were too realistic for their own good, well not up close, but, in general.
They're perfect for film making and paintball though, rather cheap too.

The problem with blaming parents for people being assholes/s**theads/whatever vulgarity you prefer, is that it offers no recognizable solution. I mean, why are the parents terrible at parenting? Perhaps they had bad parents. And on and on. At least when guns or video games are blamed, people feel like they can enact legislation to do something about the problem.

being a parent, i can say that it is proportionately the parents fault, but not completely.
after the age of responsibility, its the child's fault what he or she does with their lives.
i realize that the age of responsibility varies from person to person, but unless you are retarded, it should occur on or around your tenth birthday.
now i am not saying that you should vote or anything stupid, and only a true pinhead would read my words as such, but at age ten, a child should have all they need to know about right, and wrong, and be able to differentiate between the two, and at that point be responsible for their own actions.
i mean, if they don't know its wrong to shoplift by 10, then something went seriously wrong in the informative years... same holds true with guns, if a parent hasn't instilled the concept of actions=consequences then something really needs addressed.
i know i am babbling, but i also know that there are just to many variables to decide what is right, and what needs enacted to correct the wrongs.
my son's know guns can kill, i retain no responsibility for their actions, if they kill someone, its their doing and they will suffer for it, either (if they are caught) prison, or (if they are not) the mental anguish.
blaming parents, can be nothing more than the words of someone who hasn't been one yet... blaming video games, or guns themselves, is plain stupid, and i will tell anyone who says differently that they are stupid as well.
what kids today need to see, is "CONSEQUENCES" if you do a wrong, you will, without a doubt, be punished to the extent the law allows.. IE the kid who got caned for the graffiti, i think it was... he was rich, spoiled AND AMERICAN, and thought he could just waltz away, as if he were here.. he was wrong, and i support the government who beat the s**t out of him, he will remember and tremble at the sight of a graffiti picture from now on..
anyways, thats my 2 cents.

That would have been December 28th. We had one rehearsal in there prior to the game, which was on the 29th. The picture of me with the weird lighting is from the 29th in our break between the morning's rehearsal and the game that night.

Holy crap- that's really weird. The reason I asked was that my family and I were down in San Antonio for vacation then.

San Antonio is actually a really beautiful city... The Riverwalk is simply amazing- I've never really seen a place/thing like it. Most of the days consisted of us walking around the city/visiting local towns/missions/ walking to Mexico etc. And the nights were mainly my brother and I wondering around downtown looking for things to do. It was actually pretty cool.
Oh, and Iowa totally owns. My "permanent" home is in Illinois, and let me tell you- it's soooo much worse than Iowa ('cept for good old Chicago.)
