What's up with snarkmarks? I had 392 and now i am down to 272. Is this just a random number or what makes this number?

So... you've got ten thousand SnarkMarks and you don't even know why? Did I read that correctly?
I'm guessing ceil is a really small number.

ceil is the ceiling function, it rounds up a number, e.g. ceil(3.2) = 4.

also, a few people have rated me very poorly. If you were one of those people, kinly tell me why. I truly wonder what the reason is.

Two is hardly a poor score for a new mapper.

oh, I'm not a new mapper. I have a lot of 1/5 ratings and only a like 2 otherwise.and those are not too high. I just wondered if i had pissed anyone off.

The 'mapper' ratings matter about as much as the snarkmarks. That is to say they're both worthless, just there for fun, and serve very little indication of anything. The ratings are a mixture of rating as a mapper and rating as a poster, and each rater interprets it as he or she wishes, which makes it meaningless. So don't get too worried about it. Hell, I've got four ones myself, and I doubt it's because of my mapping ability.

You are dead to me.
No, don't try calling, I'm going to leave the phone off the receiver. I don't want to see you again. Your s**t will be in a box outside and you can pick it up whenever. Don't you understand, I'm tired of being hurt. I have found someone who treats me better.
