The mapping looks really good, especially the background shots.
While a lot of it seemed to be corridors, they did a good job with
lighting (I liked the shot of the men running up the stairs).
They also seem to have a reflective mirror going on in that bathroom.

Thanks for sharing.

this
shot stuck out for me, notice the sun it infront of the veiw, yet the
light beams are comming from the right?

Looks nice, good to see some more SP mods out there.

I would also talk to some one about that thing you put on the bottom of
your screen shots, it takes up a huge chunk of the shot...

Hmm... I see they are always looking for Mappers... well... it seems
that the Strikeback mod is not going anywhere (most of the guys I have
are either busy or noobs, and OmegaSlayer has exams, too... and he IS
already working for other project and is busy aswell...), so I am
thinking about stopping the whole project, Taking two maps together and
making a small chapter (not named under strikeback anymore)... I was
hoping I could get some media, but yes... all the level designers are
lazy or busy or don't care, so why should I? And if help is not to come
within June, I will throw it away totally (I am paying 10 bucks for
three monts for hosting :-P), but I'd like to participate if someone is
leading ME. So...

I believe the progress will start going faster when the Nightfall will get some people.

I like SP mods more than MP ones. They usually are lot more fun
(remember the 3-part HL mod, I can't remember its name, but it took its
place in night and was FILLED with creatures and creatures alone.

Anyway, I like the Nightfall idea and the stuff that is already made, so I think I'll contribute.

I need to point out that the media doesn't have everything made so far.

I might as well explain the whole story so you can get an idea of what we have to work with:

You start out in a dream map which is a significant part in the story
because each area has a symbol of the main characters thoughts. It's
hard to explain but think of it as a vision later on.

You start in the Asylem, then 'my' graveyard and finally a Church. In
the church you hear voices of a child crying and a woman screaming with
voices talking of a hero...

You suddenly wake up inside the Rebel Compound where the last
resistance base is located. You look around and as you go around the
corner you hear someone shouting 'COMBINE' and thats where the trouble
begins. As you explore the base you see different rooms with rebels
inside and storage rooms.

(I was given a quick demo and I didn't expect the amount of action that
suddenly hit me! I was so shocked and smiled, I can guarantee you that
if you like action mixed with horror then this mod is for you!)

You find a HEV suit in the storage room and suddenly Combine burst in and you have to fight them.

As you progress dodging the HUGE and I mean HUGE amounts of explosions,
destruction and jaw dropping sequences you end up in the sewers because
the base is being wiped out. You have no choice but to carry on down
the sewers where you meet a friendly rebel. He sticks with you helping
you throughout the sewers until he is shot and you leave via the sewer
exit. You find a airboat and you are forced to watch the player being
chased until he is shot and gets knocked out as the airboat crashes.

Thats when the credits appear as your forced to go on the train to the
Sillouette. The Sillouette is nearly as big as the Citadel but has four
other towers situated around it. (*Note that this mod starts way before
the entrance of Gordon Freeman*)

You enter the Sillouette and are taken to the conversion room where you are changed / converted into a Metrocop.

This is when the second dream starts...

Once it has ended you wake up changed into a Metrocop but a failed
experiment called the INERT breaks free so your left on your own while
the full conversion is not finished. You manage to escape as a Metrocop
with his mind still there.

You have to escape the Sillouette without being noticed (Splinter Cell Style Supposedly)

I won't spoil the rest but lets just say you will encounter new
characters like female combine, new monsters, and an adventure that
will make you gasp!

Lost Towns, Snow mountains and well I am not at liberty to say!

Addicted - Graveyard Map

Very nice looking but uhm... "asylum dream" ? If the character is
dreaming or deluding like in maxpayne he shouldn't be able to read
"storage" at all  (do'h it's IMPOSSIBLE to read in dreams unless you
remember the general shape of a short word).
