mario kart's cool too, but you can't compare SuperMarioBross with MarioKart, they're different from each other (one's action/adventure, the another one's ...about cars)

it had a turn based attack system like in final fantasy

its pretty funny and involves a lot of puzzle solving

i think its the only game where mario and bowser team up and it has geno in it who is awesome!

All three Mario RPGs are good. (Mario RPG: SNES, Paper Mario: N64, Paper Mario 2: GC)

Yoshi's Island is such an awesome game. The bad part is it's one player.

Mario Brothers 1 is the arcade game. Also known as "POW". That one is okay. Fun on GBA, since they upped the abilities.

Super Mario Brothers is awesome, but has its limits. It's okay overall because of it's later instalments.

Super Mario Brothers 2 is fantastic, no matter what anyone says. I think it's far better than SMB1.

Super Mairo Brothers 3 ... oh my God. What a fantastic game.

Super Mario World is so fun, but, easy, which is something the earlier games lacked ... they were hard. Especially 3, christ.

There is no 4 as of yet (even Super Mario Brothers DS isn't called "4" it's called "new" ... which will rock your face!!)

The Lost Levels is really good.

I like the All Star versions of all the games more than the originals ... except 3. Not sure why.

64 ... was okay. If you think it was better than okay, there's something wrong with you.

Mario Sunshine, I personally love. But I don't think it compares to any of the other games. They're all far more "solid" games.

Mario Kart got old. Fast. I can't play it anymore, it pisses me off.

Dr. Mario was fun. So was Yoshi and Yoshi's cookie. No one remembers those Yoshi NES games. (Mario was the villian in the first game)

I'd still have to say 3.

Super Mario World is not Super Mario Brothers 4.

Honestly, three is weird. It should have been Super Mario World 1, to be honest, because of the way the game is set up. In three and world, there is a dynamic world-map system.

So, that's the main difference, but like I said, three shouldn't have been "three".

Anyway, the DS one was suppose to be called 4 ... but they're being bastards and calling it "New Super Mario Brothers". It should be set up like SMB1. I haven't played it yet though, so.

I've never been able to play the "Land" games. I know they're awesome and introduced some of the awesome power ups (bunny ears, Wario).

My favorite Mario of all time though is probably Super Mario Land 2: 6
Golden Coins (for GB). It is the first Mario to introduce Wario. Also
Wario World or whatever (SML3) is great too.

need another just yet :smile: I think Nintendo are certainly planning on
using the revolution controller for a new mario tennis game at some
point though; in the teaser trailer for the new controller they even
showed people using it as a tennis racket. Personally I think that
would be a great use for the controller.

I'm thoroughly convinced that Mario Kart 64 is the perfect game.
Aside from the shortcut you can take in Wario Stadium, there are no
faults I can find in the level design or the gameplay. I play
about 4 hours of it a week with the kids on my hall.

There's about 4 uber shortcuts in that game I think - Rainbow Road,
Wario Stadium and Mario Raceway (dunno if thats the name, but one that
goes past the castle I think?) all had somewhat destructive shortcuts.
None are particularly simple or without risk though, so I wouldn't say
there were enough to destroy the game or anything.

Wow, I just googled Mario Power Tennis... and somehow I had no idea
there was a Mario Tennis for GC. I thought the only Mario Tennis was
the N64 one. I think I'll have to buy that now.

Anyway, yes. In Wario Raceway on MK64, you can skip a good 30 seconds
of racetime by jumping over a wall off the first humps in the level.

I have this game in 5.25 floppy. As far as I know it still works. It has all its original documentation and is the oldest game I currently own. :smile:

I have Wario Land on Virtual Boy, sweet game. The only other Wario

I decided on Ocarina of Time because it has a better executed plot than Link to the Past. I don't have the two GBC games, Minish Cap, and Collection. Except I don't see much point in owning collection if you have the others. Oh yeah. Don't have Zelda 2 either :sad:

Metroid Fusion is Super Metroid but better (A fresh spin on the franchise). And the first one has s**t for response times. Zero Mission is better (too bad it's easier too).

Prime is OKAY. Metroid 2 was pretty good too.

Also, how can you think Wind Waker is the best Zelda? Seriously. It's not a bad game or anything, but pales in comparison to ALL other Zelda games. :razz:

I'm kind of surprised no one said the best Zelda game is "Zelda Collection"

Gorb, you don't have Four Swords. It's fun though, if you haven't played it. Requires many people for the best enjoyment.

What about Donkey Kong games? I hate the original. I'd say, disregarding nostalgia, Jungle Beat is my favorite DK game that I've played. Although, I haven't played Mario vs. Donkey Kong and I really want to play that. Looks fun.

i've played the wind waker but my friend wanted his GC back. i didn't finish it.

same with metroid. i only finished metroid 1. i didn't finish metroid prime because the same reason of wind waker . i've played other metroids, but i'm not really interested... geez i'm a bad gamer.
