You know, there have been alot of threads about violence, software, events, and all manner of humanity, but no one has posted this yet so I would like to say to all the Pitters, Happy Thanksgiving day(here in America and around the world), and may your holidays, whatever they may be, be happy and fraught with joy.
Any one want to post comments with a positive outlook on the season?
No poll here, just dig in.
Peace out,
Juim

What did you guys all do on Thanksgiving, assuming you're American and get the day off?
I spent the morning and early afternoon serving food to the homeless. It was hard work, scooping turkey stuffing for seven hundred people. My forearm is still sore from it.
We had an early dinner with my family, and then I came to work. I work from 5pm until 1am tonight. I hope the night shift is slow.
Last night, I went to a "TrueCrime: Streets of New York" private party. One of my neighbors is an artist for the game. He developed most of the textures for the maps. It's pretty cool to hear what goes on behind the scene in the game-making process. He also explained a few insider's joke in the game. I feel lucky to live so close to a game developer.

But you guys enjoy your food and family.

Yeah, Thanksgiving for us was a month ago. Good on ya Satch for
serving the homeless, I spent my day off school sleeping in until 2
o'clock then watching TV in my underwear

I spent the five day break at home. Had thanksgiving with my
family, and then spent the rest of the time with a couple of friends,
one of whom was staying with me for the break.
