How will you change gears then? Or will the gearbox be automatic?

Car's still in the shop... Good news is that I am doing some computer work for the guy to take some off the bill!

On a side note, I bought another project: a 1956 British Ford Consul Mk2.

<span style="color: lightblue;">Are you going to rape that one too? Just kidding. What are your plans on that one?

edit: Damn that engine looks small. Is it a 1.3 litre?

Pvt. Scyth, what do you mean I didn't rape the last one! lol. You must be a purist, you know, "make all cars back to stock condition." The engine is a 1700cc. It runs fine, but the hydraulic clutch won't release, so I'l have ot bleed the system. I always liked British fords.

I was thinking either a pearl white or plain black for this one. I'm not sure about interior colors for now. I'm going to get it in safe driving condition and drive it around for a few months, hopefully. The interior will be old-quilt-draped-over-crappy-seats colored.

 Have you become color blind or something? Nah, I was just joking. I
have nothing against building/modifying cars. Actually I'm quite
intrested in what will become of this project of yours(the earlier one
not this british automotive miracle  ).

The engine looked a bit beaten up, but if it runs well and doesn't eat
up more oil than gas then I guess you've gotten a good deal.

I am getting the trailer and picking it up tomorrow. I have some pics of what it looks like in the shop, but without the sun, the pictures cannot do it justice. It's gorgeous.

No, the front part is all chrome pieces and lights. When it all goes on it will look like this: http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-1960-1969/1967-Mercury-Cougar-maroon-fa-nf.jpg

The bumper takes up most of it along with the grille that I am fixin' up now.

Caution: large picture. sigh

yeah, when you turn the headlights on two sections on teh grille open up for the headlights. I can't find a picture of it, but it's two round headlights on either side.
