There are a lot of sub sections and this leads to lots of white space, so don't be put off by the length of the document, there isn't actually all that much text to read. If you have a spare 10 minutes sometime it well worth a read. Pity the pics don't work

I've been reworking that one into something more concise - basically ditching a lot of the beginning about work process and such. Also working on a lighting tutorial too. But everytime I read through either, I always get the impression that I bullsh*tted the entire thing. I guess that's what level design theory is anyway, eh? :dodgy:

LOL, very much so  I took a more tutorial esque approach with mine, going through step by step examples, but after those have been done its far better to read through theory ones, it leads to much more creative thinking.

I was going to do a simple tutorial on light_spots and correct use of light_env and how to get the best results using things like teh diffuse light hack. These are such regulary asked questions on mapping boards, particulary verc that i decided it'd be a good idea.
Maybe i'll do a simple step by step article on MMs as they're quite tricky for people to get their head around. Who knows. Maybe i'll just write one on random entities.
Infact i think i may over the christmas hols, stand by for tut on:
-light spots, light_env, multimangers, multisource, game_counter and maybe an env_global for good measure.
Some great entities^^
