I want to burn some totally legal MP3s on a CD that can be played on an old CD player (non-MP3). I could have sworn Nero has an option for this but I either didn't find it or it doesn't exist.
Sooo... do any of you know a good program to convert Mp3s to standard audio CDs? Free and simple would be my preferences but if there's a program you like in particular please tell me even if it's 2000 $ studio software.
Also a quick clicking guide for Nero would be nice too, if you think it works.
Thanks

Hmm, that didn't work, but I'll take a closer look now, thanks.

I don't have Nero but if you have iTunes you can burn a music CD using that and it'll play in car stereos, discmans, etc.
I have Roxio Easy CD creator, and to get it to burn a regular music CD you have to select "New Music CD" not "Data CD" or anything else. Also, you have to make sure you finalize the CD and use a CD-R not a CD-RW.
That's all I got, hope some of that helps.

Ok here's what I do:
Start Nero, click "new audio CD", then I drag&drop (or select from the file browser, it doesn't matter) the MP3s to the track list and get an error.
It says the "file format isn't supported". Although I checked the help files where it reads that it should be possible and that easy. It should convert the MP3s to CDA automtically but it doesn't.
I always liked Nero, this is new to me.

All you need to do is find an *.MP3 -- *.WAV converter. Burning a data CD with *.wav files is equivalent to burning an "audio" CD. The formats are the same. Such converters are ubiquitous, and either cheap or free.
