I heard an interesting question on the radio this last run. The question was: "What Christmas song do you need to hear before you feel its Christmas time?"
So, I pose the same question to my fellow Pitters.
Secondly, I for one would really like to hear your choice. I ask that you post an MP3 of the song someplace for downloading. I also ask that you do not host his here if you have your own PIT to forgo any issues with Snarkpit hosting taboo software/songs/whatever.
With the thinking that we have nearly as many flavors of likes here as we have members, I for one would be very interested to listen to your favorites.

Bing Crosby - White Christmas
Unfortunately, I don't have an mp3 of it. My folks have his CD and we play it by the fireplace on christmas eve and christmas day.

I remember hearing some kind of funkafied version The 12 Days of Christmas --
basically, each "day" was replaced with some modernized object, for instance, "A partridge and a pair tree" was changed to, "and a Japanese Franciscan-Radioooooo" :o

For me, its almost any song from The Charlie Brown Christmas sound track.
It may sound funny, but ever since I was young, it's been played on TV for the holiday and thats what I remember.

Wonderful christmas time by Paul McCartney & Wings
My dad always plays it.
That, plus the sight of the flying Christmas snarks.

In retail, Christmas seems to start in October,
that when people start thinking about buying for Christmas.
"Black Friday" approches (the day after Thanksgiving)
the busiest day of the year. A 14-hour shift of rude customers
and fistfights over the last ipod on sale. oh joy...
