Here's something I'm toying with. Give me some feedback and if anyone thinks I should take it further, I really like the idea but am unsure as to how to make it more playable. The platforms are there just to move around the area for now.

This was a company near us who made diet aids and during WWII made medical supplies. We used to put up a 25 foot christmas tree on the tower every year.
The building is now a bunch of small businesses and the inside has changed alot since I was last inside at least 17 yrs ago. Most of this is from memory and some is just not do-able in the map.
I tried to make it to scale and this place was huge. So some of it is scaled down and this isn't even alll the building.
It's a historical site in the Fox Valley area in Illinois.

This is the 3rd placed entry in the 2008-09 HL2DMU map contest.

UPDATED to run under 09 OB engine, changes to geometry, items and entities.

dm_thumper modified by Twist and Killbox Tower modified a very little but from the original and now both newer versions of these maps come together in one big map. Access via tele's

the new thumper version is worth the download anyway so hope you find this fast paced once you get atleast 4-16 players onboard. Have fum!!

New Version has the trains takin out (reduced lag) and I added some cool stuff (Download and play to see whats new) :D Very fast paced and arial practice for all players Low or High Grav) Bunch of secrets in this version. Have fun!! Can be played on Redline007's server 8.9.30.166:27015

and I currently messing with a (giant skybox version at this server 66.55.149.137:27015

so try em out if you want before you add to your server. Feel free to modify my version all you want.

This map is would be great for a full server to run. Very open and lots of free open space to move around. The same skybox used in Killbox_towers was used for this map. Hope you all enjoy and run it on your servers!

Twist of the TW Clan re-created killbox_towers and came up with this map! Fun to play for 2-16 players, has a cannon to shoot objects along with 2 trains that haul ass (for train wars) hehe.. but I realy wanted to share this map with you all, casue it is alot of fun.

The original Killbox towers was created by Moose of the gdawg clan. but this version is so much better that it needed a new name other then a killbox_towers_v1078 (since this map has been redone before)

So download it, play it and youll like it for sure.. and if you run a server, throw this one on there.. :D

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch DM_kowloon

This is the first map I've released and I've been working on it for a good few months now, after months of procrastination since beta 5, I've finally dusted off the final version(which I never actually envisioned happening). It's a medium/large map with a somewhat symmetrical layout.

The name doesn't actually have anything to do with Kowloon, or the walled city of kowloon, the map started out as a map on the rooftops of that city but it eventually changed to what it is now, though the name stayed the same.

I don't really have any clue as to how to organise some sort of a play test session so if somebody could pretty please push me in the right direction i would be very grateful.

I was kinda focusing on connectivity although I have tweaked it somewhat to be less open ended.
Balanced for TDM style play but works well as ffa too.
