i dont know, maybe it's because i know the song too well, while never having played Doom, but the story in the song doesn't seem to fit too good for me.
good overall effort though.
a week earlier, and i could have used it in a machinima report that i wrote.

Kinda mellow for Doom 3 don't you think? Did you ever see that music video using G-man to sing it? That was good, learn from it.

I thought this was really well done actually. You did a great job of matching the video to the song.
Parts I particularly liked:
The shot of the guy struggling with the doctors while Pink Floyd sings "relax..."
The way you cut to the spacecraft when he's singing about "ships"
The part right after the explosive barrels explode and he sings
"pinprick" there's this scream in the song that you matched up
perfectly with the in game footage of the guy tied up.
Also -- the lip syncing parts were done pretty well.
I liked all the sweeping shots of the complex and the hallways in the beginning.
The only thing, you may want to correct the spelling of the title. Its comfortably numb.

I didn't say the song didn't fit as such, I merely said that Doom 3 is more of a heavy metal genre, based on the action. A game more suited to Pink Floyd would be perhaps System Shock, or some spacey game like Homeworld 2.

there have been a few covers, most notable, for all the wrong reasons, was the techno version.
i watched the vid twice more, and came to the conclusion that it's some sort of infection that's doing the rounds. if so, if would've been perfect if the guy talking at 45 seconds had a voice dubbed in, explaining a little bit about it. it would've gone perfectly with the line just before it, about needing just the basic information, which is probably why the guy happens to be there talking anyway.

it made me think about making one with DoD, using floyd's 'when the tigers broke free', but i know for a fact that i'd never finish it.

That'd be a good idea once they implement the cinematic effects...
You'd probably need a team though if you wanted to do any complicated sequences. I'd be happy to help.

With only 2 people we could do an amusing short where a soldier falls
asleep in the heat of battle and wakes up to find himself all alone in
the map... it seems everyone changed maps and forgot to wake him.
He runs around scared looking for people (kind of like a lost child in
a mall) and then finally... he wakes up again, or finds everyone was
just hiding from him and they start fragging once more... and all is
right in the world. And we can end with him getting shot and
being glad to be back in the action.
Or that's just a terrible idea and I have no idea why I just typed it all out and pressed submit.
