The poll is a simple one this time. No politics or life debates over sexual preferences or life styles.

The Question is: Of all the cars you OWN, or HAVE OWNED, which one did you prefer?

Now, you cannot say I like the Lamborghini, cause you most likely never owned one. For those of you who have yet to purchase a car, I apologize but this poll is not for you.

I only want people who have bought an automobile.. "Car, Truck, Motorcycles even qualify"

Specifically, what I am after is this, I found and loved a Saturn. An American made car so my favorite all time car is now a Saturn but up till now, my favorite had been a Honda. It was at that time the most reliable car I ever had.

So, the true question is: Which make/model do you prefer most.

Now, I know that some Japanese cars are being built in the States but they are still Japanese cars, and vice versa. So try to be specific.

I am curious to see if many of you hold any allegiance to your country of birth and their makes and models.

As I said, I used to think a Honda was all that and a bag of chips. So, I am not particularly favorable of American made cars just because I live here...

The best things in life, aren't things.

Catching attention through misleading topic titles is a sure fire way to destroy any purpose and maturity in a forum, if you ask me.

But please, continue the chat about cars. I don't drive yet, so can't vote here, but almost all of my favourite cars (and no, obviously I've not driven them) are Japanese, for what it counts.

I've owned: My favorite right now is probably the 1986 Bronco. It was my dad's since it was new in 1986 a year after I was born. Everywhere we ever went, we went in that truck. Now it's got over 500,000 miles on it and I just use it for off-road fun on the farm until I can restore it.
I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

Well, I have a Nissan Micra, I hate it- looks like a granny ball on wheels. Its a japanese car I think.

If I could, I would try and get a Jaguar XJ220, and I forsee it not being impossibly hard to afford in the late future (at the grand age of 35/40)... Though I imagine the running costs of such a vehicle, let alone insurance, would put me on the streets!

I changed the last one to more suit your desires but.. This one stinks enough to do its own dirty work for me.

Besides, derailment and misleading titles is a Snarkpit pastime.

Before long, I expect a car made by God himself, one made by a man of gay inspirations and one that the president himself had once.

No thread will be complete with out those three subjects crammed in it somehow. :heee:

I don't actually own a car, but I've been driving my parents cars for the last three or four years.
cars I've driven that we owned:
199x Ford Escort (BLEH)
1994 Buick Park Avenue Ultra
1997 Honda Accord Special Edition
1997 Buick Park Avenue (not ultra, but still very nice)

Personally, I could go either way on the 97' cars, but probably prefer the honda. I've been doing pizza delivery in it for around 7 months now. I've used the '97 Buick for the same purpose for about two weeks while the Honda was taken away for repairs (accident.. that didn't actually affect the function of the car.. here's the story), but overall I think I prefer the Honda. It's a more fun car to drive. The Buicks.. well, it's like riding in a tank. A bouncy one. But very nice. You could equate the cars to 1. fun to zip around town in. and 2. nice relaxing ride.

When I get a job that pays enough money someday I'm definetly getting a Subaru WRX.

oh, btw, I just like Japanese/German/Italian cars more than any other kind of car. I have little to back that up.

My car blows. I have a '98 Mercury Tracer. Problem is, that's a subsidiary of Ford. So, of course, they've designed more features for keeping you from fixing the car than the car actually avoiding breaking down. Way to go, douchebags.

I hate the thing. The fuel pump died at 50,000 miles, and that's a very bad sign. It's blown a map before too. It shouldn't even begin to breakdown until it's about 10 years old. But, they set a new bar: 4 years. Bastards.

The car I currently want is either an Audi SR4 (newer than 1999) or a Audi A4. Winter package and all, of course. (With and Without winter tires ... going up a ski ramp)

Also, Audi are pretty easy to work on, with the extendable front and all.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Before this thread dies, we should rename it, that way its categorized more efficiently and will appear more easily when it comes to searches.

What was the old name?

I've only personally owned a VW. I like it, still have it.

My family used to love Volvo's but the last Volvo we purchased was a lemon.

I'm almost hesitant to post this, but we have a BMW too, and obviously
its nice, but if it were up to me I wouldn't want one. Too flashy
for my tastes.

(Audi and VW are part of the same giant European company)
That seems to strangely coincide with Ford buying the company ... hmm.

BMW, in general, I think, looks like s**t.

Yeah -- the older ones looked nice, but the new ones are like boats.

I still kind of like the way the M3 looks. Sporty. But other than that, don't like the look of the new beamers.

Technically I don't OWN it, as it isn't in my name, but I use it all the damn time so it's practically mine.

It's a 1991 Dodge Dakota.. It gets stuck easily, due to the total lack
of ass-end weight, but it's fun to drive. Right now it's muddy as all
hell because I drive down dirt roads alot.
I'm allergic to tequila, it makes me break out in felonies.

I'm going to be turning 18 in may so me considers getting a car. A cheap one,
so that I won't rip my heart out if it gets a dent or something. A
dacia (anything but logan), most likely an old berlina is what i'm considering to buy as my first car.

User posted image

It's more than affordable, comes with a
fairly decent engine (no drag races with this one, though)and ,above all, it's build for these s**tty "2nd
world" roads. Spare parts aren't an issue and, as i've said, it's no
tragedy if it gets scratched.

Time to trot it out again! Not technically mine, but mine nonetheless.

Similar to this, in blue. It's called a Pulsar, built by a local auto
giant called Bajaj (probably in collab with Kawasaki Japan, not sure)

User posted image

It's a 150CC machine. Not too powerful but sufficient for my needs...

Other vehicles I've "owned", so to speak...

1)Hero Ankur - 30cc moped

2)Kawasaki Bajaj 100- RTZ - 100cc bike

3)Kinetic Honda - 100cc scooter

Of the others I've had the most fun on the moped. It's light enough to
lift over small obstacles (e.g. House gates, cop barricades), fast
enough to get me around and gave about 60 km to the litre of petrol.

Well since this is a car thread, I have to post. I love cars. I have
owned 2 cars so far in my 18 years of living. Actually a car and a
truck.

1981 Ford F-150 Ranger (Sold to junkyard)

Possibly the ugliest truck ever. 15 different colors, and rust. Had an awesome 351ci V8 in it though.

1984 Camaro Z-28 (Current car)

This is my dream car and I am so lucky I get to own it this early in my
life. Actually any Camaro is my dream car, so I would have been happy
with any. My Camaro has the stock 305ci V8. And its carburated, so I am
extremly happy. I actually have some pics of my car.

My car.

I remember you posting a pic of that scooter Fragman. You got any pics of it from the front side?

Mayhap, one taken with you upon it?
