And which monsters, forceflow? All I saw were ones from HL2.

I love the emotion and drama Valve injects into their characters. Alyx seems almost like a real person expressing real emtotions in that video. The drama, just wow, it's like a movie, a good movie.

Man, I hope there will be some enemies you didn't see in HL2. I don't know if I want to fight Combine and Antlions for the 50th time. I like the idea of Valve making their own expansion packs, though. Gearbox is great but Valve is Valve...

Best part about the trailer IMHO: "We'll see about that" I always thought the Gman is pretty cool but he's quite a stiff, noninvolved character. Hearing him flip out is a very nice twist.

Hmm, nice overview of the story so far they give there - I believe its the first time I've seen most of it "confirmed" in quite such a way.

Yeah -- I'll definitely buy this if it comes out this summer, just
because I love the HL franchise and story. Marc Laidlaw is a
great writer/storyteller.

Yeah, I couldn't tell, I was watching it really small.

I had to watch it a few times to make sure, because at first glance they did look like combine.

Doc, I'm getting a little sick of the combine textures myself, but I hope the gameplay is good.

i clearly remember watching the bit where alyx stands on the antlion's neck before shooting it, in some other trailer ages ago. some of the other bits look familiar, too.

the g-man to the right looks alot more sinister...

i always thought of the g-man as the good guy, trying to destroy the combine and all. i wonder whats happened?

Dystopia - Empires

Not necessarily the "best" in my eyes, but definitely one of the most
interesting. Sparking constant debates on who he is etc.

I just hope they don't give up too much for him. He's only really
interesting because of all the mystery. If they throw him out in
the open it'll ruin it.
