check out Dimmu Borgir. its basically really fast melodic black metal.
one of their songs (Kings of the Carnival Creation) is at 275 BPM at
its fastest point.. crazy fast, and i can play it on drums and guitar
:biggrin: its pretty sweet. you should listen to em. if ya want pm me and ill
send a few songs of theirs to ya on AIM or MSN or email. Nicholas
Barker is faswter than dave mackintosh(dragonforce) theyre both very
very good but Dimmu Borgir is just darker sounding. less songs about
triumphing over evil like DragonForce.

I like punk/punk rock (the recent stuff, not the garage rip-off stuff),
bit of indie included, hell why not throw in some rock and goth. I just
like anything that I like.

Generally this is changing every few years. I started as a metal kid (korn, they were pretty cool once) then moved on to electronic/bigbeat/trip-hop (chemical brothers, propellerheads, daft punk, air, massive attack,...) and now moving towards rock again.

:biggrin: I started with techno and rock... Then I started getting headache
from techno and moved to metal and well I kinda left there. :razz:

Coldplay is kinda pop. I have no problems with pop anymore. You just have to know what you're listening to. A lot of former rebel bands can be considered popular today.

gareth emery, armin van buuren, gabriel and dresden, markus schulz, john askew, ozgur can, ...

When I saw the "Classical" vote option, I thought about Beethoven etc. Maybe it should be just Classic Rock.

Anyway, currently my music tastes are most in line with Fat Strings. Although I do like classic rock, and occasionally hip hop and rap.
