In case you're wondering what I've been up to, I finished the book I was writing, and I created an entire online community called GamingParents.org.

It's a gaming site geared toward the more mature gamers. After two weeks of all-nighters, I got it up and running.

Finally, we have a place to call our own. We will no longer feel out
of place like we did in a traditional gaming community populated by
adolescents. We can discuss gaming topics with maturity and insight,
and we can browse the forum without spending half the time deciphering
typos and grammatical mistakes.
What an adult and mature thing to say. No, really. I think you'll find
there's more than a few adults with kids in "regular" communities.
Hell, I can direct you to one i've been part of since 1998 in which
there are no less than 15 gamers with kids who get along just fine with
the illiterate and immature kids. Astonishing stuff really.

Whatever the case, good luck with it, there's a niche out there to be filled.

I've been doing so many things in the past months, it's hard to count them.

But anyway, I'll drop by from time to time to catch up on old news.

What's holding you back from joining GamingParents? We have a lot of members who are still young, but in ten years, most of them will become parents.

Is your book yet published, satchmo?

My book is scheduled to come out in bookstores nation-wide in March of 2007.

The publishing process takes a long time. Currently, the book is completed but is going through the technical reviewing process.

I do have the bookcover, though.

Just say it's a nomme de plume Satchmo.

If people can find out who wrote this book, then what wil happen to the good anonymity of your blog?

I have created a whole line of merchandise for the GamingParents community.

No pressure to buy anything, but I'm sure you'd be amused.
