I have two suggestions:

1) If Lep isn't gonna update the site, that we begin a new thread and unlock this one so that whomever does update it will have current news to work on.

2) That someone use a truckstop terminal and determine what exactly is wrong with this site. When I am on the road, I cannot post here because the site has some scripting errors that need addressed. Since the terminal doesn't have the ability to post the error message, I cannot post it for you but take my word for it, Snarkpit is not user friendly outside my home.

<span style="color: silver;">Site sugg: I'd like users to be able to see who is "watching" their maps.

Good idea, Dark Tree.

Orph - thats not only an issue with truck stop terminals, it's evident
right here and i'm guessing it afflicts a large number of "non tech
wise" users here. When things have been arranged, and more importantly,
people have been in contact with us who direct "operations" ( ) , we
should hopefully move somewhere.

Finally.. A new idea. (or a new twist on an old one perhaps)

I'd like to see a bit of the anonymity reduced in SP version 5.

Whenever someone looks at a profile of another member, they will be able to see how that person has rated you in the personal rating system. Of course, if someone has their rating system turned off (for any and all personal reasons) then obviously, they won't see this, however if you have your system turned on, it should only be fair that you be able to see how others have rated you.

Some might feel that this would cause retaliatory actions but I honestly feel that the opposite would be true. It could actually prevent bad situations by removing the ability of those who have their system turned off from voting.

Don't misunderstand, I feel that its 100% in everyones rights to turn off your voting and/or being voted upon.

The best things in life, aren't things.

I think it would make sense for people to only be able to rate others if they themselves can be rated, but there's nothing really to stop people from activating the rating system, rating people, then deactivating it.

As for being able to see which people rated me what, I'd rather not know.

I'd like to see who rated me, but not let others see what I rated them

I rated a bunch when I first joined based on first impressions, and I regret all the ratings I posted.

I'm not sure if you know this, but you can just rerate them.

i was gonna post a threat on HL Editing section and a window popped up saying i can't if i don't search first.

well there's 2 sentences in spanish, bad translated and i thought you could change it to correct spanish, even if it's not that important:

No puedes postear una nueva pregunta en esta secci?n sin haber buscado la respuesta primero. Ser?s redireccionado a la p?gina de b?squeda.

Hello. Thanks for the 598436958 suggestions, I'll try to look into some over the next few days, since I seem to have been magically and randomly drawn back here by fickle winds

But this thread loads waaaay to slow, so check out the new one.
