Best way to get around searching for your cds (no cracks required):

1) Burn ISO image of cd to disk.
2) Get filedisk. (make sure to restart after installing)
3) Make batch file to mount the ISO image with filedisk, then launch the game.
4) (optional) make shortcut to batch file and give it the game's icon.
5) Launch the game by running the batch file.

eg:
This mounts the starcraft image file to the drive letter s:/ as if it were a CD, and then launches the game.
Starcraft.bat:
C:\filedisk\filedisk /mount 0 c:\Starcraft\Starcraft.iso /cd s:
C:\Starcraft\starcraft

You can unmount the drive (if you want) with another batch file containing:
c:\filedisk\filedisk /umount s:

Excuse me, Valve, but you just turned a little suckier.
What da fugg is that s**tty thing supposed to be?
It's about as discreet as hitting someone with a cudgel in the eye. I was actually thinking they'd do the non-sucky thing of placing a faded pepsi poster with arabic characters on it. Pretty soon they'll have the nerve of putting advertisements in custom maps claiming they have the right to do so because THEY made hammer.

How f**king tard is that?

Its the suckiest thing that ever sucked a suck.

The best things in life, aren't things.

After playing Race, and seeing how that game had ads in it, I calmed down quite a bit. The ads in race were incredibly well hidden, and were really nothing more than "subliminal messages as you drive". After my experience with that, I began to feel that maybe the whole ads-in-cs thing wouldn't be that bad.

Meh, I blew another blood vessle when I saw the contents of those images :/

Nah, HL2 maps are gonna have a new entity in them called "info_ad"s, and if you don't place at least 3 of them in your map, Valve will claim you completely broke their EULA, or something. :heee:
Breaking the laws of mapping since 2003 and doing a damn fine job at it
