I have no art to contribute, yet I would like to see what others are doing. I vote Yes.

Having a texture section would be awesome.

I say both 2D and 3D (modeling) art. May not be a whole lot for either right now, but having those sections could draw in additional users and members who may not have spent time here before.

I had the same problem as Dr Brasso. I got a page not found error. I agree that there should be more forums and 2d art forums

Yeah mine said the page not found error but in the title it said "You have already voted" which I havn't. I agree with what Gorbachev said, we should have a texture forum.

I got page not found error as well but it did count my vote. I voted yes, but I think a forum like that would take time to build up steam before it was 'popular'. Perhaps 2D and 3D art could be in the same forum to start with to make the board more 'busy', then if/once many posts are being made, give the 3D stuff it's own one?

Idea: maybe we should turn the CoD Editing board into a board for General Radiant-based maps.
(CoD, Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, ...)
I'm convinced this is the way to make this board more popular, because not so many people are mapping for CoD yet.

That's a good idea. It'll take off when there's a few basic tutorials up. It'd help to have a couple of experts too, to answer the newbie's questions. Oh and stop saying Jedi.
Oh, and I can't vote in polls. I say it's from having javascript disabled. Not a big deal though.

Quite a good idea in general actually - a Radiant board, a Hammer board, and an UnrealEd board, and you've covered most of the important FPS's.

I was actually going to suggest Radiant and Unreal myself, but I guess Lep and a couple others beat me to the punch

Perhaps I'm being a tad too fast, but the UnrealEd forum won't work because you need to search first, and after doing a search it makes your new post in the HL editing forum. I guess its something you are aware of though...

As another thought, with all these new forums the list on the left has grown somewhat long, and on these library computers you need to scroll down a bit to reach the bottom. Perhaps you could have a user preference that enabled a simple side menu that only listed the forum name and the last post info, as opposed to the description and topic count that the regulars either don't care about or already know.
