I like the concept of areas opening up after time passes.

It strikes me as a little bland - and I accept that you have to keep r_speeds low in large arenas, but there is 100x more detail in the spawn area than in the arena? Seems a little wasteful if you are going to go straight out of there
Download available?
also, is that red "pad" on the left of the spawn chamber shot a teleporter? if it is, add a sprite or something to signify it is, it's rather tucked away down there. if its not, ill get me coat

Reminds me of Quake/Doom somewhat, but I think that lighting is way too bland. Try to get some high contrast lighting in there, as well as some colours other than white.

Actually, there are sprites above the teleporters, but for some odd reason, they didnt show up in the screenshots.

Interesting colors. I would take white spotlights and do some major highlighting. The ceiling has some minimal depth but the floor and walls lack it immensely. So as rspeeds allow fix that.

I agree, spotlights could do wonders for this map without adding to r_speeds...

Like the staircase and roof in the first screeny but it does look very empty.

The first 2 pics do look rather barren but I like the sunroof in the 1st pic. Not sure where you're going with the second pic and that dudes kinda scary. Third pic looks nearly finished and quite good I might add. If the rest of it ends up this quality it looks to be a very nice arena.

Screen 3 looks interesting --- are you moving up and down (no gravity), or are you moving horizontaly? ( on the floor).

Okay, the download for this map should be ready, and the problem with the wad file is fixed.

The map seems a little Tronish but I like it. I noticed you have a hologram sign. Do you have any trouble with the sign dissapearing when the player moves around it? Just wondering.

Wicked. Never seen this idea in a map before. The detail in the spawn area is very nice and the force fields are a plus in the arena. Supplemental weapons every few mintes is great, too.
