I've always been inspired by Crystal Planet, Raspberry Jam Delta-V, A Train of Angels, Time and just about every song on Joe Satriani's Crystal Planet album.
I wish I could find a good link to Crystal Planet for everyone but I have very little trust in Youtube and can't find it elsewhere, so you will just have to look it up yourselves (And yes it will be worth it).
EDIT: Wait a sec, Is this Thread for music that makes you sad, or "emotional" as the title suggests? I just reread a couple of posts and noticed the abundance of sorrowful songs so if mine are out of place please tell me.
Now remember kids. Asking questions is a good way to get censored by the government.

The song was originally covered for Donnie Darko (The original is a 70s disco song .. same lyrics entirely different music)

I like that Katy Perry song that you have; I actually just discovered that song a couple weeks ago. I even thought about posting it myself! Thanks for that. Great songs.
